Pop in every so often with friends and family and have yet to have a bad experience! The staff despite what other reviews say have always been more than accommodating and kind at all times. They will always greet you when you come in through the door and will always say bye before you leave. The atmosphere is relaxed yet the staff are more than capable to handle busy lunch rushes without looking stressed. Food is always top notch and I highly recommend the Almond Slices! Keep up the Good work!

If you like mocha their mocha tesora is amazing!!!!! My first experience with mint mojito was not so great (I didn't add any sugar or milk and for a non- regular coffee drinker like me it just tasted bitter!) Add to mint mojito sugar & milk it becomes a heavenly fragrant iced coffee...will get you addicted

Have been into the Coffee Shop a few times recently and while I was initially impressed, I'm less so now to the point where I've decided that they've been given enough chances and I'll take my business to another cafe in the town. Such a pity really because the interior is lovely. Reasons for leaving - each time having to return coffee because of it being served lukewarm, seeing the owner sit one of his children on the counter where sandwiches are prepared, unfriendly staff (young girls with little personality) and the final straw was when I went in last Saturday at 4.45pm and asked for a sandwich and they said it was too late for serving sandwiches. The cafe doesn't close until 6!! Never agree with cafes that do that. Major improvements needed there in terms of customer service.

The coffee shop is located on the main street in Wicklow Town. They have a deli counter with sandwich and salad options, generally a choice of two soups and a couple of hot specials. I had a 'Black Castle' baguette which was tasty, but my partners lasagne was very average. Fine if you're looking for a quick bite - but don't expect anything too special. On the plus side, the staff will give you the password for the wifi if you ask nicely :)

I'm a regular here and although the menu never really varies, (which is a shame), they still do the best soup and bread in Wicklow Town. Also have to mention that they do the best Coffee in the town. But it's pricey and the fact that the menu never varies means that you can't keep coming here. Management is not the friendliest and I would say that probably leads people to run to the competition.

lovely looking place from outside, and quaint inside too but tables in back area are ridiculously close together. been going here for years and always enjoy the food, although the choice has hardly changed in years. carrot cake as mentioned by someone else, is lovely as is the apple pie, but overall expensive. nice soups and salads too but again, a bit pricey when you add a few to your roll. biggest downside is the that the staff are a bit unfriendly, but the lack of friendliness in here lets the place down badly. not our favourite regular coffee stop anymore in the town, but will visit occasionally.

Often drop in for Coffee and cake, both of which are wonderful. Visit late morning or early afternoon, just before or after lunchtime rush, and service is very good and even friendly. At lunch time is very crowded and there never seems to be enough staff. Food though is good, especially the brown bread and pate. but menu is limited and a bit pricey. Tables very close together but much better to sit outside (if sunny) and watch the world go by.

I quite enjoy this little busy place. True, what other reviewes mention - the staff would not be the friendliest in town but it is almost worth it for the carrot cake alone! I love the big thick slice of it with very generous cream cheese frosting. The open brown bread sandwiches are good too with creamy tea and brocoli salad and the semisundried tomatoes. The place is crammed with tables so not ideal if you want a quiet lunch - it is better to come in here either before or after the lunchtime mayhem.

This little place does much better than it deserves. The food is good (best tarts anywhere) but coffees are never the same quality twice and prices are famously silly so the food sticks in your throat. You choose and pay at the counter - waitress then brings your order to your table. Tables often not the cleanest and milk jugs are uncovered. Staff give the impression of being unhappy. Are they not treated/paid well? That's the message they give off. If the place was a bit cleaner, staffed by pleasant people and realistically priced it would be a great place for lunch or a snack. Unfortunately it is not.

I have been here twice and its always busy so perhaps my experience is not typical. I find it expensive, the staff dismissive, the food very ordinary and the cappuccinos were watery. I asked for a bagel and cream cheese ( Saturday morning breakfast) which they didn't have so they gave me hot, undercooked brown bread and cottage cheese-yuck! Two plates of this and two coffees came in at €19. It just isn't great.

Really cosy little place with a few nice seats outside which are great on a sunny day. Food is very good but unfortunately excessively over priced. Staff/atmosphere good but not excellent. If money's not an issue, check it out

Lovely coffee shop great for lunch/coffee. Good selection of rolls salads etc. we use it a lot and it is kid friendly. Two issues to be aware of 1) they only take cash?? 2) Hard to get a seat at lunchtime. Very nice staff and they sell lovely brown bread, apple tarts and salads to take away.
