Went here with my boyfriend while on an over night trip. Wanted to have a few drinks. I didn't like the atmosphere. And some of the customers seemed quite intimidating. The toilets are very old and don't smell nice at all (Ladies) Won't be back.

Stayed here for a night and had our dinner in the bar. We did order at half eight and last orders were 9pm so maybe thats a reason? Im not sure. We both ordered the chicken curry with rice and chips. We have never had such an awful meal. It was a pan fried chicken breast covered in, what I can only describe as an onion and tomato salsa. Not a chicken curry , certainly I have never been served that as chicken curry. Very few chips and a spoon of rice. I had to order dessert as I still felt I hadnt eaten. The apple pie I opted for was ok Its a pity because the rest of the stay was lovely. The staff are nice and attentive but if I do stay there again I will definitely not be eating there.

We have eaten here over the last 6 years, after having our wedding here, and the food is amazing!! Last weekend, we had carvery, bar food and dinner in the restaurant. The carvery is always very tasty, extremely resonably priced, with big portions and a large variety. Im a big desert person, and Lynhams always delivers! Im not a fish-eater personally, but one of our party said the rainbow trout was the nicest he had ever tasted, and he would return simply for that! I love the vension sausages, always nice to have some local food and the Wicklow Lamb is fab. Service and atmosphere cannot be beaten here, and the surroundings are so nice, its like a little piece of peace, and not too far away!!! We will be back, year after year.

Stopped in here before on my way home from work with a friend, was nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was delicious, succulent steak went down well with plenty of veg and extra mash. Would definitely drop in again!
