I won't go back. It's the nearest place for having lunch after walking in Glendalough but the quality of the food is quite bad. We had burgers and i had to return it because it was extremely burned, then i got a better one but still the quality of the meat is poor. The seafood chowder is ok but not great, it has a lot of cream and not much fish/seafood.

i went back to this place because is the last decent place you can have a meat before going to the lakes, the service is poor due to lack of waiters so you'll have to wait a good while to get served ,the atmosphere is superb due to its location, and i always get my fav thing from the menu,so i cant complain about my food, however my friends were complaining about the small sized portions and lack of interest from the waiters.if you are not in hurry this is a really nice place to go to and spend a lovely time in an unique place!

Arrived for Lunch with two colleagues on a beautiful summer's afternoon into a quiet restaurant. We took our seats at 1.55 pm and we eventually got serves at 3 pm. One colleague opted for the BBQ burger which he got direct from the BBQ so he had his in about 30 mins. Burger was the size of a biscuit and over cooked with a salad for eu8.50. The other two meals were a quiche/salad (eu11.95) and a chowder/bread (eu7.50) which both took an hour for service and preparation. I usually do not post reviews but come on guys this was pretty poor. Maybe you've got a bit lazy with the guaranteed tourist trade.

Quite dissapointed after my last visit, waiters are everywhere still when you wait for your menu/order/wait to take plate away/ask for a drink they are nowhere,i noticed the last few times that the price of the food got dearer and the quantity smaller.
