Very nice food, staff were very friendly and polite and professional. Lovely decor, very nice atmosphere but thought it was a bit dead. Would go back but not on top of list.

You know what, there is nothing wrong with average. Average means nothing offensive or wrong or burnt or trying too hard and not succeeding or not trying hard enough. Average means not thrilled but not disappointed. Average means when you read the ingredients on a tin of beans you will see "beans, tomato sauce, sugar". No surprises, no highs, no lows, just consistently reasonable, no fuss, reasonably priced food that fills yer tum until tea time. The only quibble I have really is that the staff can be a little slow taking orders sometimes, with the occasional orders not put through and the like. But otherwise they are friendly and service is very (if occasionally worryingly) quick. Try South. Look, you don't want fuss, you just want grub and service that has nothing wrong with it and there's nothing wrong with that.

Had a great surf n turf only €19.95. Lobster was really fresh. Bottle of red wine for €14.95. I thought it was great value.

Very dissapointing.. odered what they advertised as fresh cod with homemade chunky chips but what came out was frozen chips and frozen fish ... could have just stayed at home and cooked that myself and saved myself 11 euro
