Stopped by here today on way back to Dublin. It was packed & there was a lovely atmosphere. Staff were extremely friendly & the lunch was gorgeous. I can see why it was so busy as everything was perfect & I will definitely visit again.

After getting off the M4 from Dublin, we watched out for a place to stop and noticed how well Feerick's looked from the outside. Inside too, was clean and respectable. But the lounge food servings were excellent I can say. My wife had the lamb stew, with roasties and fresh veg, I tasted it too, absolutely gorgeous. Mine was the vegetable soup, and a lighter bite of just a Tuna cheese wrap, chips and side salad. I was well fed and pleased too, and with tea for two, the bill at just €24 was good value for money. We'd definitley stop there again on the way to Westport.

We stopped at Feericks on 26/0713 between 2.00pm and 4.00pm for something to eat. Upon entering the restaurant you were serving a fresh carvery which looked very nice, but we just wanted something of the menu. We ordered 2 Philly Steak Wraps and a Plaice with Vegetable dinner, the menu was a bit misleading with regards to the Philly Steak Wraps, which indicated it would be slices of beef in the wrap, when it contained stewing steak, but worse was the Plaice which when it was served was very, very overcooked and cremated. I should have said something at the time, but i was tired and just wanted to move on. Your premises and staff were fine, but whoever was in the kitchen on that afternoon, was not on good form and the food served was of an extremely poor standard. If we ordered the Carvery i don't think i would be writing this email, i made the wrong choice and was very, very disappointed with my visit.

Very disapointed, Had been recomended to stop here on my long journey for a bite to eat, seemed like a busy spot, staff running around but didnt really seem like anyone knew what they were doing. We ordered two chicken marylands, food well presented but chips were piping hot and the rest was stone cold, explained to the waiter and told us she will have a fresh one for us in a few mins, she kept her word and what landed out was a disscrace. We now had to soggy breaded chicken fillets straight from the microwave, explained to the watier that seamed to be running the show and just didnt care so with that we up and left, still starving and very anoyed,
