Excellent food, lovely helpful and friendly manager. Its expensive for Mullingar but probably the best chinese/asian offering in the town. Recommend it, little atmosphere as its a big place and not many diners but very enjoyable.

Decided to try this place due to previous reviews and how i wish i had not! Thursday evening at 9pm and place was EMPTY!! And a well known large hotel next door i thought it would have a few diners in. Ordered our wine and waitress took our meal order..while enjoying our glass of Vino the waitress returned from the kitchen to inform us that our Lamb dishes could not be fulfilled due to.."No Lamb Delivery" this was very annoying as why had we not been informed of this while placing our Orders...we had now started the wine so felt we had to stay and changed the orders to Chicken ( as waitress said ..we have Chicken)??? Why not include a little note inside Menu informing no lamb Dishes- we would not have eaten here if we had known before the drinks arrived that Lamb was NOT on that night. Chicken dishes arrived and were not tasty at all felt it was all to pricey for what was on offer- and then while eating the waitress had a" brainwave" to start sweeping the Restaurant with a carpet sweeper while we were eating ..I dont know if this place has changed hands but it certainly is not as nice as we thought it would be.

A great place in Mullingar for a meal out. They have a raw buffet where you select your meats and veg to present to the chef to have him cook it for you in your sauce of choice. So you know you get exactly what you want. They are great with requests too, mine was done with no MSG or oil when I asked. There's a nice selection of thai and Chinese starters as well including spring rolls, wontons, ribs and chicken balls to name a few. It's great value, especially for Sunday lunch and kids love it! Great place to stop when travelling too as it's just off the M4 at the Mullingar Park Hotel. Service is always efficient and friendly.

This is a very fine restaurant, it proximity to the town is a minus, but, it is in the grounds of the Mullingar park hotel with ample parking. The buffet is excellent value if a little pricey but you can pick your main course and it will be cooked in front of you which is fantastic. The weekend buffet is great value for families. The place is very large inside and would be perfect for a larger party. Thai and chinese menu dominate but im sure they would accomadate all pallets. A great experience all round

We decided to go here on the spur of the moment and was glad that we did. They have a fine buffet menu with plenty of choice and you can eat as much as you wish. Reminded me of another restaurant where you can choose all your raw ingredients to be cooked in front of you and have the sauce of your choice. A fine big restaurant that would be ideal for a family night out with lovely staff. Will certainly be going back...

Mr Wong is a fine restaurant. The staff are very kind and helpful. Most importantly they are now serving a buffet meal which is priced as follows; €18.50 for Adults and €7.50 for Children. I think this is great value and you can eat as much as you like. The great thing about this buffet is that you can eat from the hot section of the baine marie or you can select various raw ingredients for the Chef to cook in your choice of sauce in front of your very own eyes. It is also possible to order from the a la carte menu. This is an all round great restaurant, I cannot fault it in any way.
