Passing through Dungarvan on Sunday we decided to try Crew's for a light lunch. there were 3 of us in the group, we were met by a very friendly and efficient waiter who showed us to a table. as we only wanted a light lunch we all had fish, we opted for the plaice, each plate came with three generous fillets beautifully cooked, the were accompanied with a good selection of vegetables, creamed and roast potato. We finished with coffee and tea. Very friendly, attentive and efficient staff. This was our first visit and we were very impressed, will definitely visit again the next time in the area.

Seven of us had an excellent meal here last night. We pre-booked a large 8 seater table which was set up beautifully for us with lots of water on the table, friendly service and nice music in the background. The adults ate from the €25 3 course deal, adding €3.50 for the fish of the day. Although this is now an extra charge , a change from on my last visit here, it was worth it given the quality . We got the freshest Lemon Sole and Hake with a wonderful beurre blanc sauce. all cooked to perfection. The kids meals at €6.95 are really good, with homemade fish/chicken gougons the standout. They also get jelly and superb Knockanore ice cream as part of this deal. Most desserts were good but the standout is the Raspberry Sponge and custard. The wording does not do it justice. Excellent coffees and a bill for 3 adults and 4 children coming to €118.00. If we had to mention anything it would be that they put more bread on the table for bigger groups as the baskets are small. We asked for more and it was given generously. Overall, a great restaurant that deserves to do well

This is very good value for money. €25 for a 3 course meal and €20 for a 2 course meal. Food was really good and wine was good and well prices. Interior is lovely and relaxing. Service was also fast and prompt. The only downfall was there was no or low background music and because we were a large group eating out and everyone else were in couples, we felt like out conversations was been listened by everybody. Could have done with a bit of music

Just popped in for lunch. Was well impressed. Had fishcakes to start with - I am not even a fan of fish but as it was a seafood restaurant I thought I should give it a go. Very fresh, light and tasty. Had roast beef for the main. Again, very tasty and generous portion. Veg was slightly lacking in terms of condition but overall the main was very good. Standard selection of ice-cream and a decent cup of coffee rounded it off. The cost of 24.99 was right on the nose given the standard and portions. Would like to try again for dinner sometime.

Myself and my boyfriend and another couple went to Crews on a Saturday night. It was really busy but the service was excellent. We were waited on by the Manager who was really polite and professional and friendly. We had 4 starters, 4 mains, 4 deserts and plenty of wine. All of our plates were cleared by us, its rare that 4 people going out for dinner would enjoy everything. It was my second visit and can't recommend Crews highly enough. I had the crab claws as a main course, cooked to perfection. Everything was fantastic and great value for money. We will definately be returning.

This is a beautiful restaurant, the decor is fantastic. The menu is extensive with a brilliant choice. Food is excellent, very reasonably priced and large portions with a good selection of wine at a good price.

this has to be one of THE top class restaurants in the country. I could not praise this restaurant enough. the atmosphere, lay-out and decor was beautiful. the service was excellent and the food was to die for, it was fresh, and very well presented. there is an excellent choice to be had from the wine list. we choose the fish from the night specials, my partner had lemon sole in which he got 4 beautiful fillets, we have not seen that amount of lemon sole served in any restautrant in a very long time. i had a seafood selection which had 5 differents types of fish and shellfish, it was 'melt in your mouth' delicious. the veg and potatoes were fresh and beautiful. i could not recommend/praise this restaurant highly enough.

DISAPPOINTED.. I have always spoken highly of "Crews" but last night was a let down..LIMP,TIRED fish,SOSO steaks,"chips"arrived well into the main course, staff had to be asked a second time for two deserts, one persons coffee arrived when the rest of us were halfway through..The place was VERY "unbusy" for a Saturday night and still the service was rushed and confused..something's changed ..but not the prices..(friends enjoying each others company prevented my making a fuss)..I wonder why they are "unbusy".
