Went here based on menupages reviews and it didn't disappoint. Food and service was top notch. Whoever's in the kitchen knows what they are doing. The restaurant is small so you may have to book on a weekend. They don't open Tuesdays so my daughter was lucky her Birthday landed on a Monday. Chinese woman serving us brought out a profiterole with a candle and had Chinese version of Happy Birthday played on their music system which was a nice touch. My daughter who is now 9 even thanked her at the end and told her it was the best restaurant she'd ever visited. OK she hasn't been to that many but still...

We love this restaurant and have been using it for 3 years. It is quite small and intimate and very welcoming. The food is the best Chinese outside of Dublin, it is family friendly and reasonably priced.

Ate here yesterday Passage east is a nice little small town. I was suprised to find a chinese here. The owner was very welcoming and happy to see us. I had the chicken curry which was nice and mild and had plenty of chicken in it. The chips and egg fried rice were also delicious. The food was quite cheap. I liked the food and the welcome the best. I found the place a bit quiet was the only thing that i didnt like.

One of the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to and that includes restaurants in chinatown in Manchester and Toronto. Excellent value for money and a family friendly atmosphere. The owner is not only an excellent host but an excellent chef. The chicken chow mein is really good, as is the curry and the Howay special.
