I came here with a friend on a Saturday evening for dinner. We were there early and so wasn't many there. The service was pretty good, the food came quick enough. I got the lasagne and it was lovely, really home made. I wasn't impressed to see that some of the mayonnaise sachets on the table were out of date.. stock rotation!! Also had to go to the bar to pay despite asking for the receipt. Despite all that the food was delicious and good value for money!

Been a few times but today decided never again. Ordered a toasted sandwich that was cold and cheese still rock hard in it. Coffee also cold and had to ask twice for cream. Service was poor with uninterested staff except for an older small lady who was lovely. The place was also freezing. Never again

Food below average. Vegetables were overcooked. Meat dish seemed to be re-heated under a grill and had spattered all over the plate (and not cleaned). Crepes from the dessert menu were cold and so not freshly prepared. Staff not interested when queried. Only positive is the decor is nice for a pub.

I have been here many times and it is always lovely. Its good value to, most starters are around €5 and mains are €11-18. I often get the soup which is always lovely. Sometimes the mashed potato isnt great, there is too much pepper in it, but other then that I have no complaints about the food at all. Most of the waiting staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar manager is very good, he runs a smooth ship and keeps everything running as it should.

I was working in Templemore for the week, so I had my dinner here. Huge selection on the menu. Decided on the wings to start (not the best I've ever had, but were nice enough), and I had the seafood platter for my main - prawns, mussles, paoched salmon and smoked salmon, and lots of salads, potatoe salad, colslaw etc. Was delicious. Wwaitress was loevly. Finished with a coffee, and whole meal cost 17 euro. Great value.

Lovely food but sometimes the staff forget about you in favour of the boys in blue. The decor of the pub is very appealing and it is a great stop gap on the way home.

this place serves good tasty food with generous portions. its usually fairly busy so getting a seat can be a problem . Typical good value pub grub located in the centre of the town.
