Vegan curry-dependant looking for a place to eat... and Poppadom's appears at the horizon! My fiance and I both love Indian food so it was a treat for both. Note on the door "we don't serve alcohol, bring your own" and off licence across the road. So armed with a Speckled Hen's and a Hobgoblin (we are posh drinkers) we made our way upstairs. Lovely atmosphere, nice menu, very good value for money. We weren't rushed in any shape or form, we enjoyed the candlelight dinner and then walked our way back to our accommodation. Overall a lovely meal out, portions are just right if you order starters. Will go back again.

This wouldn't be my favourite restaurant, though I've been here many times as its a family favourite. The food is great really tasty but too little for what you pay for, and the staff can be quite cold and unfriendly. The restaurant itself is lovely though

ate in here once but i get take aways from here regularly. I was never an Indian fan until my friend suggested a girly night and brought me here. I love it! Cant get enough of it! food is so so so fresh and "clean". Service, whether in the restaurant or take away is always brilliant. I really cant fault this restaurant. Def a must!

A lovely indian restaurant in the centre of Sligo town. The food was a very high standard and every course was freshly prepared and delicious. The food was also presented very well and I loved the free poppadoms and 3 gorgeous dips to begin with. The restaurant wasn't very busy but they also do take-away and that looked very busy though didn't intrude on the restaurant too much. The service was very friendly and attentive. Will return when next in Sligo.

Really good quality Indian food, freshly prepared and SO tasty. Staff v friendly, attentive and professional. Chose from early bird menu & when they realsied we were sharing the starter, they plated it up for 2 instead. Also chose off main menu. Be prepared to wait for freshly prepared food, it's worth it. Price very good too, reasonable. Hard to find identify a fault so will say the decor wasn't great. Recommend without hesitation to anyone visiting Sligo. No wonder it is an award winning restaurant.

My wife and I visited here last Sunday while on a weekend break in Sligo. It was a quiet night so was easy to get a table. The menu is not too cluttered with a relatively small number of curries available. My wife had a milder korma style curry and I had a lamb rogan josh. The quality of the food was superb. The accompanying breads and rice were first class. The service was friendly and attentive. We both agreed that this was one of the best Indian restaurants we had visited. Sligo is very lucky to have the Poppadom
