The dinner menu which is on offer from 5pm to 11 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday is a lot more focused on gourmet contemporary cooking, unique styling of food and combinations, a grand combination of local organic meats, vegetables and fish with a large focus on supporting local farmers and small proveyers. We also have a large range of organic and vegetarian menus that has a real focus on originality.
The food is about high flavour, great textures cooked with intricate skill and technique, as well as the casual approach to some of our comfort foods on our lunch and pre theatre menu such as " posh fish and chips with pea puree and tartare sauce " and rib eye of aged beef with béarnaise sauce with truffled watercress salad and duck fat cooked sumo chips. We also offer a "Conrad's Tasting Menu" 6 courses of perfectly balanced dishes from the various menus.

I had lunch here last Thursday with my sister in law, a big fan of mr Gallagher. I tried on a couple of occasions on the Wednesday to make a booking but no response to email or phone message so i called again on thursday and finally managed to get a table for 1 pm. We were the only people in the restaurant, another couple did arrive during our meal. this is a shame in many ways as the food was extremely good, the service was excellent and i'm sure that with more people in the restaurant the atmosphere would have been good as well. the tables are very well laid out with "proper" tablecloths, decent cutlery and glassware. Overall a very pleasant lunch. My sister in law started with the crab cocktail and had scallops for her main both excellent while i had the kataifi prawns and the lamb shank sherpards pie. Again both very good. My only quibble would be with the basil mash topping, a bit too green for my liking. We will return to try the dinner menu.
