This place is well known for its famous lunch time carvery but it has a hidden gem in terms of its Evening Menu. Bubbling Cheesy Potato Skins are one of the tastiest and best value starters I have ever eaten, I would eat them til I went blind! My son had the Henry's chicken goujons which were clearly home made and also great value, he loved them! For my own main course I had Braised Lamb shanks which were cooked to perfection as the meat was falling off the bone. They had baked alaska for dessert which I have not seen served individually in years.

I was here with a large group of family for dinner. The portion sizes are huge which is great if you're a big eater. I personally prefer quality over quantity. The plates where cold as was the food. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly but I wouldn't go back.

Well they do a fantastic carvery on a Sunday. The plates are piled high and its so yummy. Ive only every been to Sunday carvery and i couldnt fault the food. The only thing i can say is that its very very busy on a sunday and as with carvery you have to queue first to get your food but by the time you get the food your left wandering around for ages to try and get a table which is the only downside to it.
