6 of us dropped in (taking a well earned break during a long cycle back to Dublin). Restaurant was busy, with a nice atmosphere. We seated ourselves and service was efficient. Food was yummy, and great coffee. No complaints on the prices. Although the staff were fine ... it would be top marks if they were a bit friendlier.

Visited today following a long gap. Staff at counter rude and did not bother engaging with me the customer, too distracted by delivery person! Food ok but pricey and high minimum charge if using debit card of €8:50 was an unwelcome surprise. Will not be returning any time soon

Food here is really good but need to offer a more of a menu for vegetarians and healthy options. Prices are bit high and could be cheaper. Some staff are very nice others not so much. All in all nice food and cafe but reduced prices and variety of menu would give it 5 stars..

We love this place for breakfast and it like for others has become a bit of a weekend ritual to head here on a Sat morn with the family. The food is great and there's plenty of choice for all times of the day. Service is always the same, fast and friendly. My only complaint is that they do not open on a Sunday but I understand that as a family business they do deserve a day off too.

I could not rate this place high enough. We go to the cafe religiously every Saturday for morning for breakfast. The food is alway delicious and served speedily. The staff have always been friendly and warm. There is however usually a queue there, but that can only be a sign that alot of other people share my own enthusiasum. I would normally have the Soda Farl Special, which is different and simply delicious. I would always recommend this this cafe for exactly what it is, as a place where you can get good food, fast which is reasonably priced.

I have recently moved from Dublin and I went to Streetside Cafe in Enfield - in fact I have been there four or five times to date. I am shocked at the comments by other people on this site as I have only ever had very positive eating experiences at this cafe and I would definitely recommend it to other people. Its not a five star hotel but its very fresh food, nicely cooked and served and lots of homemade things like yummy brown bread and apple tart etc., and I think its very good for the price you pay. Isn't this what a local coffee shop /cafe should be?? The staff have always been very nice and welcoming to me and my kids and the place is always busy so I assume that many other people are as happy as I am with the place.

ate here recently as its local very dissapointed, food was greasy and cold. had the chicken baguette and my partner had the lasagne, my food was soaked in grease as if it had been dipped in the fryer, and the lasagne was obviosly bought at the nearest tesco plus it was burned at the edges. The service definatley wasn't with a smile rushed and rude would be the key words to descride it. i'm also sure i could hear an argument in the kitchen which wasn't very pleasent, definatley won't be returning or recomending to my friends.

I did visit this cafe regulary, but only go there on occasion now - when I absolutley have to. The staff are very hit & miss. The management are never pleasant. My colleagues & I ate there on a daily basis over a period of 3-4 months, but it was still a rarity for the manageress to give us a smile - considering she is the owner I wonder how some of the staff manage a smile at all! The food is consistant. Service is prompt - if not sometimes abrubt. The bacon tends to be very greasy. Lunch menu is better than breakfast. A little overpriced for a cafe in a rural village.

I have had the pleasure of dining in this wonderful little cafe on a good number of occasions now and I have found a number of constants. 1. The food is almost constantly very good, well prepared and nicely presented. 2. The atmosphere is just what you would expect from a family cafe and cannot be faulted even if space is a bit tight. 3. The service is always very pleasant but not always accurate or correct at the first time of asking. It seems to depend very much on the individual serving you. Some are superb and some are well... less than superb. Give it a go. It'll never blow your mind, but I doubt you will be disappointed. (and not badly priced either)
