Called in ere, business meeting. Never again. No one in the place. Had a toasted sandwich, nothing special. Service sloppy and value for money???? Nope!! Seems like a rough pub, would never return.

Went in here to watch a rugby game, as it wasn’t on any of the channels showing I asked the barman if it was possible to show it. He asked which TV did we want to watch it on and switched the channel for us. That was a good start to an enjoyable few hours watching the game and enjoying some club sandwiches and creamy pints of Guinness in a friendly atmosphere. Good pub grub, generous portions at reasonable prices and friendly staff – will definitely return

Had lunch with my friend last monday. My second time to have lunch here. Service very good and speedy for a working lunch. Sat at a nice little table by a cosy warm fire. Ordered a club sandwich without the bacon. Was nice but slightly dry...could do with some extra mayonaisse. Came with a garnish of salad and also chips. Excellent value for money. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for a quick and speedy, reasonable working lunch.

We were very pleasantly surprised by our food when we went here for lunch. It has been done up and looks really well. One problem though was that we were there at the beginning of lunch and when I enquired as to how the roast beef was cooked, I was told that it had been done last night! Other than that, good prices, nice portions, tasty grub....needless to say I did not have the roast beef!
