Excellent value- any two courses from the menu for 15euro and three courses for 18euro (3euro supplement for steak). Absolutely delicious. My partner and I eat out a lot and this is far and away the best Steak House I've been to in some time. We shall be returning for more!

Staff were lovely and friendly and the service was great. Buzzy atmosphere but quiet small and tables close together so not the best for a quiet chat. Food was lovely, a little overpriced for what it is but a nice place for lunch nonetheless, dessert was delicous!

Food & service were excellent in this restaurant, been there on 3 separate occasions now, and never had a bad experience. Food is exquisite and I have always left satisfied. been there as a couple as well as a family function and no change in service quality. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Slane, keep up the good work.

The back section is too brightly lit and feels cold and open with the high white walls. The food was well cooked, delicately seasoned, and simply presented. Also I felt service wasn’t bad but they looked uncomfortable, unsmiling and not very confident, the manageress was asked a question about the organic wines on offer and seemed ill equipped to answer the customers question, (all easily rectified with some staff training). The meal for 2 with starters, mains, desserts, aperitifs, bottle of wine and coffee was €150 approx. Overall I was expecting some “WOW” factor to arrive but it never did, I thought it might arrive with the dessert course as this is what George has built his business on but I was disappointed, actually the lemon tart was poor, lacking in flavour and the pastry was soggy. I can think of other restaurants in the area that I feel I would get better value either in presentation, ambiance and service for my money.
