My family and I live in navan and this is the first time we have eaten here and it sure will not be our last the food was to a very high standard and the service was second to none so in conclusion i would highly recommend that if you haven't already been here you should make a point of going.

It's been a long time since I was in this restaurant & it will be a long time before I go again. Food was just tasteless. Wouldn't recommend it.

I dined at this restaurant with my sister and her family on a Monday night. I don't get to Navan very often but I am now looking for an excuse to go out there so that I can go back to Marinis. The atmosphere wasn't great as it was a very quiet Monday night but that didn't detract from the wonderful food and lovely service. I had insalata tricolore for starter which was lovely followed by one of the nicest steaks I've had in a very long time. It was steaks all round with except for one of the party who ordered the seafood pasta dish and loved it. I am not always a dessert person but when in Italian restaurants will always try the pannacotta which I love and I was not disappointed here. It was absolutely delicious - a little too much fruit compote for me but that's not the end of the world. The children had ice cream which tasted absolutely delicious, proper Italian gelato! The service was really pleasant though our waiter was not overly talkative. Keep up the good work

I've been to marini's many times and last night was the first time I was disappointed. As always the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and for a monday night there were plenty of diners. The early bird menu is a starter, main and dessert for 14.95 euro. I had the deep fried mozarella for starters and whilst cheese is a favourite of mine I never ever had it served with rasberry jam on the side!!! The lasagne was tasteless and watery and the panna cotta was a glorified yogurt with more rasberry jam on top.

Our party of 4 were here for a birthday dinner this Friday night and decided to go for the early bird. I went for the deep fried brie to start, its always a favourite of mine and it was delicious. For main course I had the sea bass and while the portion was good there were a few too many bones and the fish a little overcooked for my liking. It was tasty but could have been better. Having not paid the bill I cannot comment on value but based on prices from the menu it seemed reasonable. Recommend this restaurant for a pretty good meal. Atmosphere was lacking a little which might have improved my sentiments towards this restaurant. Give it a go however.
