mY husband and I have eaten here a couple of times. The Irish breakfast is great and can't be faulted but we did have pasta here one time and it wasn't very good at all, actully tasted like it was out of a can.Lovely little place, will go here again, but for the brealfast only.

Let's get some up to date reviews going for this place! I just had a lovely lunch there, very fresh, very tasty. I was looking forward to the post-lunch coffee moreso to be honest though. The barista spoke highly of the coffee, and rightly so, because it is quite awesome, still drinking it in fact (I took it as a take away). Nice to be presented with a small milk jug from behind the counter also, just for me, for my coffee only. That's the personalised experience, and a nice touch. And although I wouldn't ruin awesome coffee by putting milk in it, it's nice to have had the option. It is those nice touches that makes a place memorable, so that's a gold star, or should I say five green stars for great service! Hard to find great coffee these days... The decor in the main room is a bit sparse, it doesn't have the cosy feel of the small seating area at the counter which is very welcoming. I can see myself sitting in that area with the awesome coffee, chatting to the barista, who is, it has to be said, a friendly fellow. A great lunching experience it has to be said. I will be back for more coffee in the cosy area...

I come here at least once a week. The food is gorgeous reasonable staff are friendly & its a cosy little place upstairs of an old town house complete with fireplace. The baked potatoes & salads are lovely & healthy and as for the desserts ... all homemade & gorgeous e.g strawberry & rhubarb crumble which I liked so much I now make myself. The beauty of this place is the menu with loads on offer and being vegetarian I just love it here. Navan wouldnt be the same without checkovs!
