Came here with a friend on a Monday night. Place was very quiet but still a nice cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was lovely - very friendly and helpful. Both of us opted for the 5-course value meal at €19.99. Everything was very tasty and sizzling hot. Simple Chinese style which was just what we craved. Prawn crackers very moreish and non-greasy and we received a complimentary fruit juice on arrival. Stunning views of the sea. My only complaint was with the wine - neither the red or white were of a high quality.

Service as always was faultless, great value with 5 courses for €19.99 (although two of these are drinks - wine or soft drink and tea or coffee to finish). Beautiful views of the sea. Very nice atmosphere and they seem to make an effort to seat couples away from families which is nice. :-)

What a fantastic experience. These guys really know how to look after you, and are also more than happy to enjoy seeing you celebrate. We went there last Saturday, on a work night out. The food was delicious, well all 11 were mor than happy, and they staff were extremely attentive. I'd highly recommend a visit.

Beside the beach, very cosy, very friendly staff. Reasonably priced. But the thing that sells this place is the quality of the authentic food, they add their own touch to everything and you know that the food is made with a difference. Gorgeous food!

My husband, 4 year old daughter and I visited, at about 6pm. Restaurant was very quiet but then, we were very early for a Saturday night (while our 4 year old was still able for it!). Food was excellent quality and just €19.95 each for the special 3 course Christmas menu (lovely soup, tender sizzling beef dish and very interesting christmas pudding ice-cream). House wine (Italian, I think) for just €10 a bottle - very tasty. Our 4 yo's home made chicken nuggets were excellent (she let us share one)! We'll be back for sure!

I found this place by accident and I was very surprised by how fulfilling the food and drinks were! The staff were very accommodating and everything from the decor to the garnishing was lovely. Very good quality for a very good price!

Great location, with many tables overlooking the beach. Very good value lunch, bill was just over €100 for eight of us (including four kids who ate off the adult menu). Staff extremely friendly. Food was basic chinese, but was very well cooked and everything tasted very fresh. I'd seriously consider it for large family occasions like christenings and confirmations.

Had a nice meal here on friday evening, have tried the takeaway a few times so decided it was time for a sit in, the views over the beach makes the trip down worth it, it has a holiday feel to it. the service was great and we were made very welcome, We wanted to try something different than what we had been use to on the take away, the staff recommended a chilly beef dish and a chicken dish not unlike a sweet and sour, there was plenty of food in each dish along with the shared 1/2 duck which was cut up for us at the table, the wine list is good and not over priced, The atmosphere was good and it was obvious that everybody was enjoying the food with lots of background chitchat, the only downside which is minor is that there is no partition from the takeaway to the restaurant so we got quite a few hungry faces looking in at us all night. FATE could become a regular friday thing for us we must support our local restaurants and keep them open in these difficult times.

A pleasant accidental discovery! The place doesn't looks great from the outside but once you go inside you realise it's a cut above your normal local chinese. It looks out over the beach so be sure and get a table by the window. The chicken in black bean sauce was very good while the beef in spicy tomatoe sauce was an unusual combination but tasty. This place is great value, we paid les than €40 for 2 courses each and beers. We'll certainly be heading back

Have eaten here a few times as an alternative. Decor is fab and views of beach great though for some reason it doesn't feel like a chinese / thai place as its too modern. That said food is excellent and good value (2 course 15eur) and last time I was there we got free cocktails at the end from the owner. The take away service is the best in the locality. I always use Fate takeaway instead of anywhere else.
