9 of us popped into the Westport Plaza Hotel for a bite to eat before we made our way back to Meath after a great stay in Westport. It's really nice with big comfy seating. Good menu. Food came out smartly and piping hot. Was really good food. We had a few young children with us and the staff were very good to interact with them on their little asks. At the end of it .. the bill was really excellent value. Will definitely return!

We stayed here from 30th Sep - 2nd Oct on a package deal B&B to include breakfast - Dinner was excellent value both quality and service were top class. 3 of us had prawn cocktail, 1 had soup and the other had smoked chicken, 4 had lamb shank, 1 had steak (supplemenet for the steak but he said twas well worth it) A fantastic choice of dessert from a long list was very difficult to pick from - 1 cheese board (the biggest we have ever seen) 2 had banana and strawberry moose 2 had homemade ice cream. The house red wine is supberb! excellent value and well recommended. Breakfast is buffet - what can I say - Fantastic. My father enjoyed their homemade bread so much they gave him 2 loaves on departure (no charge) highly recommended*******

We stayed in the hotel for a weekend break, ate in this Hotel restaurant one night. The food was fablous, from the presenation and taste, no negative points I can think of. Especially, the dessert's presenation, it do show itself as a fine dinning option. Services was great too, very attentive and careful.

Went here with a large group of 23, I cannot fault this restaurant. Service was impeccable, food was fabulous and the atmosphere was relaxing with a bit of a buzz. For my starter I had the Leek & Potato soup, which as a starter you can't go wrong with was perfect. For my main course I had the Lamb which is described as "New Season Rump Of Lamb, Roast Parsnip Puree, Puy Lentil Stew And Confit Garlic Dressed In Its Own Jus" and it does exactly as it says on the tin and was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Westport.
