Absolutely recommend this venue if you are visiting Wesport. Great entertainment, immaculate surrounds and great food. Having said all that my spouse and I experienced an interesting scenario. We complained about the quality of larger served and had 3 pints returned over two visits July 3 and July 4 2017, all served by the same lady. On July 4th 2017 we were refused service on the basis that the same lady complained to management and quoted that I said " she was useless" while my true complaint words were "you put no effect into pulling those two drinks". Anyhow we received an apology from management and continued an enjoyable night.

Arrived in Westport on a Sunday night and ended up here as a few other restaurants were fully booked. We has about a 40 min wait to get the table but jumped at this as were not sure we would get fed anywhere else!! Service at the bar for drinks was attentive and fast, bar staff were pleasant. I ordered a seafood symphony which was nice although a little expensive as it didn't really contain a whole lot of fish! My partner had vegetarian fajitas which were very disappointing as there was very little on the plate. He was give. 2 wraps and the veg/tiny salad he received barely filled that. For almost 17e I felt that was such a let down. The bill for 2 small mains and 4 drinks was 61e. Would give this place a miss for dinner if I was to return unfortunately

Delicious food. First time here and won't be our last. Our waitress was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Book a table, you won't be disappointed.

Only ok. Service was poor with many of the things we asked for been forgotten. I got soup which came without bread (It said on the menu bread would be served with it). It was veg soup - and nothing exciting! I got the hamburger and asked for green veg on the side (I got some cold broccoli and about a teaspoon of frozen peas...). My burger did not even have a slice of lettuce or tomato - I had to ask for a tomato! Very poor. We were with Swiss friends - so I was kind of annoyed that they witnessed this as 'good Irish food"! My husband's steak was not cooked as he asked either. I really can not see why this place has been recommended.

Ate here at the choice of my partner (he used to visit as a child). There was a great range of items on the menu. All the food was delicious, the staff were really nice and very efficient. I would recommend anybody visiting Westport to eat here

Went here over Easter weekend and really enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the food was scrumptious! Definitely will go back next time I'm in Westport.

Ate here 2 nights out of 3, amazing food!! Tried the prawns and crab claws, smoked salmon and cream cheese, goats chees tart and the black pudding as starters, all absolutely faultless!! Then the first night I had a sirloin steak which I was unimpressed with, the pepper sauce was a bit tasteless aswell. My partner had the lamb which was beautifully cooked! The wedges are massive and amazing, service really great too. Definitely recommend!!!!

Went here with 3 other people last Saturday, its a pub with a restaurant upstairs, it was busy downstairs, so they seated us upstairs which was nice, we didn't feel like sitting at the bar. We ordered pints when the waitress took our order & the Guinness duly arrived in plenty of time by the time our food arrived. We all went for burgers, the plain started off around 12 euros, and then they increased in value the more stuff that was added to them. Overall we all enjoyed the place, the toilets were up one flight of stairs, if you wanted another drink, you could go back downstairs, you're in the centre of town there anyway, so when you leave, you'll be spoiled for choice as to where to go. Would definetly recommend it.

I had the biggest burger I've seen in my life! It was very tasty but eventually had to resort to using a knife and fork it was so big. The place was very busy but we had no trouble getting a table and the service was attentive and friendly throughout. If I'm ever back in Mayo and want a nice reliable place to eat then I would definitely go here again.

Went here after reading reviews on menupages and it met all the standards. I rang saturday night at 8.30pm for a table for 2 for 9pm and the girl told us no problem to come on up. The atmosphere was good, quite busy and the restaraunt was very cosy. The the staff were friendly. The menu was quite good and had a lot to choose from. My husband ordered the BBQ bacon and cheese burger and I ordered a medium chicken curry with pilau rice and chips. We were both very impressed with the food, it was very tasty and the portions were huge. We were both stuffed after only eating a main course. The food is very reasonably priced too. We will definitely go back here when we visit Westport again.

Warm cosy atmosphere in this restaurant, We thoroughly enjoyed this place for our Valentines dinner on the saturday night. Food was lovely, with only the soup needing a bit of seasoning. Himself got the biggest chunk of fried brie either of us have ever seen. My lamb was cooked to perfection while his fillet steak was a little under cooked but still scrummy :) We will definitely be going back there again. Cant wait!

A group of us ate here last night and we were all really impressed. Everybody had a starter and the brie and the chowder were well received! For the main I had the king prawn curry which was excellent. Others in the group had the duck and the beef stir fry. A selection of burgers were also ordered, all of which looked wonderful and tasted great too, the Mexican chilli burger was the favourite! Overall a great dining experience, the staff were excellent and the menu is also very good value for money. Good quality food at appropriate prices. I would definitely recommend!
