I called in with my two kids (4 & 6) in the early evening. The staff are great with the kids and the pasta they ordered was great and healthy. The adult food is well above standard pub grub. The overall package is great and I look forward to returning. It is a great town and pubs of this standard keep it great.

Very good pub grub ~ realistic prices, generous portions, friendly staff. I had fish & chips, fish had the right amount of crisp batter. Partners burger was large, tender and loaded with cheese & bacon. Will eat again here when in Westport

My husband and I ate here as the prices were correct. The food was fine - nothing amazing, what could be expected form pub food. Very good service and friendly waitress. Food was served quickly. Nice atmoshpere, good background music - not too loud.

Decent pub grub in a nice venue with friendly staff. Good atmosphere in a great location right in the middle of the Town. Three of us stopped in for a snack or light lunch. Wedges were good and the deep fried brie was tasty. Nothing to write home about but decent enough. Good pint of Guiness also. Not too bad price wise.

Cosy Joes is a nice pub with friendly staff - it calls itself a gastro pub but it is a long way from that. We had a steak sandwich and fish and chips. The steak 'sandwich' was oieces of overcooked, tough steak on a soft roll with frozen chips and a salad that looked like it had been made that morning. the fish was overcooked. My heart sank when I saw a group of French visitors coming in to try the 'gastropub'. The staff and service were great and we didn't even bother complaining as if they think that constiitutes gastro pub food they wouldn't have understood the complaint. it was 32 euor for 2 dinners and 2 pints.

ate in cosy joe's last week and have to say that there are far better places to eat in westport than this pub, we ordered toasted sandwiches and soups, something light after having climbed the reek.. the service was slow and the waitress really did not want to be there, even though there were about 4 tables waiting to order the waitress spent a good five minutes playing with the music system! But on the alternative the menu is cheap eats so i suppose it balances out overall.

Visited here for lunch. I ordered a toasted Chicken club sandwich, my wife ordered a BLT. Both sandwiches arrived untoasted. We sent them back back and both arrived out after been toasted. However everything was toasted, Lettuce, Mayonaisse, and tomato included. Everything had turned to mush and the tomato was piping hot to the point of being a hazard. I received and apology, but no discount. The experience and the food was dreadful, and I will never eat here again.

Went here for some lunch on friday. It was very quiet, yet it took 10 minutes to get our drinks. I had the chicken bruschetta, which was luke warm and the bread was very hard to cut. It was tasty though. My husband had vegetable soup and asked for brown bread with it. He got a bowl of luke warm soup and white rolls. The service was just so slow and when he asked for a 2nd pint of guinness he had to go up to the bar and ask the girl for it himself. It had been siting there for ages. Was only a few quid so cant really expect much for what we paid.

Went into Cosy Joes for lunch on New Years Eve and was not disapointed. We just had a pint and a couple of toasted sandwiches and were very pleased overall. The staff were all very nice, the beer cold and the toasties great! It's a thumbs up for Cosy Joes, would definitely recommend it for a decent feed and a friendly atmosphere.

This is the place to go for good quick food in a pub atmosphere where you can enjoy an draft beer you wish. There is a great menu to choose from and all 8 in our group were very impressed. A pub will never match the quality of a top restaurant but value for money can't be beaten in Cosy Joe's...... A credit to Wesport.
