This was my second visit to this restaurant and on both occasions i found it to be exceptional. Between the Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the great food everyone in our party really enjoyed themselves.

Fantastic food and fantastic value. A bottle of house wine at 14 euro is great value. Four course meal for 20 euro is exceptionally good for fresh wholesome food. We will definitely make it a once a month outing.

This is my 4th time visiting this wonderful restaurant. The service food and atmosphere was as good as ever. Great value for money and the food is really superb. Even though there was a very large party of diners in one group, no one else was letting waiting or wanting from anything. The chef really is obviously great at time management and getting delicious food on the plates. Looking forward to going back in June.

This was our 2nd visit in 6 months with family, and I am still amazed at the value for money and quality of food. Kudos to Mr. and Mrs Fox for running what I consider to be one of the overall best restaurants in Ireland.

I've always wanted to visit Termonfeckin, and my dream was finally realised when friends kindly treated us to dinner at this lovely restaurant a few nights ago. We waited for a short while in the cosy reception area with an open fire and had a drink while choosing from the quite extensive menu. Although a couple of items were unavailable, this was handled very graciously by the server. We were soon escorted into the beautiful dining room, which on a cold midweek night was almost full. To cut to the chase, the food and service were both excellent, and as other posters have stated, the price for both food and wine is unbeatable. I cannot recommend highly enough.

this was my second visit to this lovely restaurant. Can't say enough good things about the food, service or atmosphere. Starters, main courses and dessert were enjoyed by all. Going back again for my Brother's 50th and cant wait!

Had a wonderful meal. Service was excellent as was the food. Quaint location and lovely atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and we were given adequate time between courses. Great value and wonderful portions per person. You can tell this chef has a real passion for food and how he cooks it, I loved the fillet steak served with the garlic pan fried potatoes, simply the best I have ever tasted. The dessert of the night was also amazing, an amaretti infused meringue filled with fruit, cream and chocolate shavings served with rum ice cream on the side. I cant wait to return and sample some of the other food goodies on the menu which cater for most people.

This was nice and cosy. A bit of an unusual setup with the fixed menu, and not cheap, but we had a very enjoyable evening

We wanted to go back the next day for lunch - it was so delicious! After an hours drive we were greeted with cold drinks and a set menu to suit anyone. For only 30euro we had the most beautiful frsh 4 course meal you coud imagine. starters inslcued garlic mushrooms, cod, stuffed pancakes, followed by tomato soup, mains were beef fish, chicken and veggie option and then dessert !oh lala, folled by fresh coffee, wine that was so resonably priced an aromatic Cote de Rhone for only 24E it was a perfect night, with service that we didnt even notice it. that was a week ago and the 4 of us are still raving about the place. Perfect
