Frequent visitor to Fushia house and food is consistently good here. However a change in menu would be welcomed. Staff are friendly but at times lack efficiency. Pre-dinner drinks in the quaint bar creates a relaxed atmosphere. Overall good value and would recommend to others.

Regular visitor to fuchsia house. Have never had a bad meal. Staff are very friendly. Good menu. Great specials. By far the best restaurant in Ardee. And they do not rest on their laurels.

Ate here last Friday nite with three friends. We arrived late and we were very pleased to still be accommodated. Service was friendly and efficient in the Gable bar where we had pre-dinner drinks and ordered. Both starters and mains were good portion sizes and value for money with the three menus to select from was commendable. The dessert was the only downfall in that the brownie ordered did not compare to the standard of our two prior courses, also a cheesecake we ordered was not served(we weren't charged however). All four of us agreed we would be returning to sample the many other dishes on the extensive menu,

Two friends and I headed here for girlie dinner out last Friday and we really enjoyed it! We landed into the bar area where we could peruse the menus and order our drinks, our orders were taken here too. There was a great selection of menus to choose form as the earlybird and value menu werre running alongside the a la carte. Two of us had onion bhajee followed by chicken curry, these were both very tasty but the highlight for me was the delicious garlic naan that we ordered along with the curry. My other friend has spring rolls and a chicken main which she said was nice too. The only letdown was dessert which was a chocolate brownie, it was okay but not great. The final bill came to €80 for 3 starters and mains, 2 desserts, 3 coffees and 4 glasses of wine, great value!

Last Saturday night, myself and my partner ate in the Fuschia House in Ardee, Co Louth. The menu covers a wide range of cuisines. For starters, I had the bread and dips (lovely and light if you don't want a heavy starter) and my companion had the buffalo wings, which were coated in a lovely sauce (a big enough starter to share). For mains, I had the Achari Gosht, an indian lamb dish, which is to die for, and himself had the Red Thai Beef Curry, a very, very hot curry (not for the faint-hearted). We had both dishes with Pilau rice and paratha bread and a bottle of the the house red. We shared a desert, an unbeatable bread and butter pudding, to round off a fantastic meal. The combination of great food and excellent service made it a great dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try something a bit different from the usual steak and chips.
