It has been a long time since we last visited The Chaser as the food went downhill. I'm delighted to say the standard of food is right back up there again, all our dishes were delicious, garlic mushrooms, sea bass, sterloin steak & death by chocolate.. plus the price was great value.. 3 courses for only €19.. the decor is very sparse compared to when it was Chaser Fitzgeralds and they could really do with some candles on the tables to give the place an nicer atmosphere, I agree the seats are very hard & uncomfortable, it doesn't entice you to stay for a leisurely drink after your dinner is finished yet the open fire is a nice touch & our overall evening was enjoyable. We'll be returning for the food again soon & would probably return more often if it was more comfortable.

I live near pallasgreen so me and my sis decided to run out there for a quick bite to eat on sunday evening. I have been to the Chaser Fitzgeralds loads of times. On sunday evening I got the turkey and ham dinner and my sister had the fish and chips. I always like eating there and I thought my dinner was lovely. My sister enjoyed hers too. The bar staff/waiter is lovely. A pleasure to deal with. The pub itself is very dark and the decor in the restaurent part badly needs to be re-done. Its cold and the seats are very hard.
