Just had my Sunday blue moon tall pint with slice of orange and cub sandwich for launch. I was full until 7 eve ,i recommend this bar/restaurant for people who appreciate calm atmosphere and a bit jazz lounge music bar feeling. I wish they could play that kind of music not the radio , but this can be change. Any way loved it ! will be coming back .

Thumbs up here, the last time I was here it was a real student pub and was not very well run, reminds me a bit of a pub in bedford row anyway good food and lovely staff will come back

The only good thing about our visit here was the genuine friendliness of the waitress. She couldn't have been more helpful but the food was dire. Those who had the chicken salad couldn't believe how tiny it was and had to order toasted sandwiches afterwards. The beef strogonoff was so bad it had to be sent back and the kitchen didn't even apologise or ask what the problem was. My open crab sandwich with it's tiny dismal slices of limp bread was so different to most open sandwiches. The coffee was undrinkable. The best comment we could muster up was the chicken dinner was 'only middling'.

Good value for money for the liunch menu, although a little on the slow side
