A new benchmark in Indian Dining has been reached. From the fiery Tandoor - ovengrilled chicken and mild lamb kormas from the north to the spicy dishes of the south. It is almost impossible to appreciate India at a glance, but at Poppadom you will experience a taste of what India is like.

The Mughals brought with them to India exotic spices, fruit and nuts, which they combined with meat, vegtables, milk and cream to create rich mouthwatering Murghali Dishes. These are amongst the finest in Indian Regional Cuisine. Poppadom Brings this authentic taste to you. Recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation mixed with melodic spices that become music to your mouth are the trademarks of fine Indian Cuisine.

We have left no stone unturned to let you enjoy the taste of the hundreds of types of dishes from all over the Indian subcontinent, categorised as mild medium or hot.

Only good thing was the wine, food was sweeter than a dessert and service was poorer than fast food..will never visit the place and will advise my friends and co workers also..

We had a lovely meal here recently. The service was great, and the food tasty. They do BYOB, with a €4 corkage charge, which is great. They didn't charge us for each bottle we brought either, which was nice. There are plenty of early bird/set menu options. There weren't very many people there, whcih affected the ambience a bit. Hopefully the business isn't suffering and they're not on their way out.....

We were out on a Tuesday so the restaurant was quiet. I fancied a spicy dish as opposed to a creamy dish. The cooking styles were unfamiliar to me. I couldn't find a bhuna or dopiaza for example. What I did select was very good. The starters were also good and very big portions. Staff quite friendly and efficient.

went here on a Friday evening after work for early-bird, starter was very tasty but too big!!!ordered a prawn curry for main but recieved a veggie dish, when I raised this with the waiter, he got very confrontational and blamed the mistake on me, even when the rest of my party pointed out the mistake, dish was eventually replaced. But at that stage I'd lost interest, also the white wine selection is appalling quality for the price.Lovely looking place but I wont be going back.

Three words - OH. MY. GOD. The best meal I have ever eaten in my life! We only chose to go there as we got parking right outside and of the restaurants on the same street it was the busiest. The service was fabulous, the waiter seemed to be a guy who took pride in his job. But the food is the most outstanding part of this restaurant, it was absolutely divine. It makes any other Indian restaurant I've been to pale in comparison. Even the rice had fabulous flavours, I will be dreaming about it for a long time. I've already decided to go back there for my birthday and every other occasion that I can. Fabulous!

The best Indian restaurant in the World !We have eaten in many but Poppadom's food cannot be beaten. The maitre d is a chef also so food is constantly monitored. They offer complimentary after dinner drinks..

Attentive friendly wait staff, very tasty food and so much choice I struggled to pick what to have. Not the cheapest (and no value menu or early bird), but left feeling very satisfied. As for the atmosphere - it was dimly lit and quiet - so perfect for a romantic meal for two but claustrophobic for a larger group. Also the music playing was a bit odd.

This restaurant is a far cry from what it once used to be. I was told that there had been staff changes, and the slip in the standard shows. The Salmon lavash hardly had any salmon and the potato stuffing was nowhere near as tasty as it used to be. The nan was excellent though. The rest of the maincourses were ok, though not as good as before. Also, there was a strong smell, the waiter informed me that it comes from the exhausts of the night club next door.

This is by far our favourite Indian restaurant.they just seem to have a flair for vibrant,well-layered combinations of flavours.they make a point of choosing good quality, traceable ingredients too, avoiding the garish artificial food colourings popular in some other restaurants.the staff are always very pleasant too, subtle but professional. if you try nothing else on the menu, order the ragda patties.the combination of tamarind, yoghurt and potato is outrageously tasty!

The starters were very good from this restaurant although the main course - Chicken Tika - was very bland. The nan bread had a layer of greese on top as well whixh meant we could not eat it. Service was a bit slow.
