Love Marco polos however yesterday's visit was just a little bit scattered had to ask for extra cutlery more than once and main courses arrived before starters were cleared away also I had to ring to confirm booking as I didn't receive an confirmation from menus.ie until after we were actually there even though I'd booked it days in advance I'm putting this down to the very busy festive season so won't be turned off as iv always had enjoyable experiences in Marco polos

Been here several times. After waiting for a long time to get our food, it came out cold. I was so hungry I didn't complain but should have. Otherwise the food was reasonable, not fabulous but with no specific complaints. Good for a young crowd as it's trendy and tasteful in decor. The restaurant definitely needs to heat it's plates and serve food hot but other than that is doing a good job, where there are few restaurants nearby!

Food was good but could have been better. We have a pet hate about food being served on cold plates and this was the case here. Starters were only luke warm but on cold plates and the same with the main courses although these were hotter but still on stone cold plates. We make an exception because it was such a busy night because of the time of year and we were only a few couples on the night with most tables being very large groups.

Dined by myself here onm a busy saturday night without a booking . Place quickly filled up with at least 30 people turned away . I had plack pudding to start which tasted very nice but i didnt think the tomato relish did much for the dish. For main i had the pork belly which i found to be very unevenly cooked and it sat on a very bland red wine jus . The dish came without any garnish . As the staff were so busy i was never asked if i enjoyed my meal . I have often dined here mainly at lunchtime and this was my first bad experience . pesto did anything for the dish .

Visiting Limerick for the day and had lunch here after seeing their board outside advertising lunch for €9.95 . We went in and were greeted by lovely gentleman who led us to our table. The décor is great - fabulous lightening. We were really surprised with the extensive menu -a few items had supplement but we felt that even with the supplement those dishes were good value. The 3 of us had different things for both starters and mains. We had black pudding, pulled pork crostini and spring rolls for starters followed by peppered chicken, lasagne and green curry. The presentation and taste of each dish was great. The staff were so attentive to every table. The restaurant was buzzing for lunch which is what they deserve. Can't wait to make it back here.

we visited this restaurant for our sons birthday after looking on menu pages. He is a very fussy eater so we were delighted their were pizzas on menu as was on your menu page. When we got there we were shown to our seats as I had booked in advance but after 10-15 minutes I had to ask for a menu so we could order(we were just left sitting at table). There were no pizzas on the menu so I asked the waitress only to be told they do not do pizzas anymore I told her I had looked up online and that they were still advertising them on their menus. We then asked for a chicken burger only to be told no chicken burgers my son settled on a curry which he did not like or eat .This was a very disappointing night and was totally disappointed that they are advertising a different menu on line than they are in their restaurant. they also were very expensive and not value for money.

It was my first time here last night, and I was a little disappointed. They do a very good value menu, 10e for 2 courses up to 5pm, and 25e for a 4 course after 5pm or the a la carte menu. As we were there after 5pm we went with the a la carte menu. The place itself is very well decorated and looks very appealing, I like the lighting up by the bars. The staff are very friendly and informative. We ordered bruschetta and chicken wings to start. The bruschetta was a little soggy and the chicken wings were battered (I thought they would have come with just the skin and in a spicy sauce) and came with a yogurt sauce and salad. For mains, we ordered the bosciola and the cod. There was chicken and bacon in the bosciola and while the bosciola itself was very tasty, the sauce was lovely and I love the peas in it, the chicken was rubbery so I didn't eat it. The cod was well cooked and tasty. We ordered the side order of stir fried veg which went well with it. Overall not very impressed, 42e for everything (we didn't have drinks, just water) which wasn't bad but I don't know if I would go back.

The best restaurant to come into Limerick in years. Great value for money. A starter, main course and drink for €9.99. I've been here a good few times and have never been let down. Their Chicken Skewers and Clonakilty Black pudding are too great starters. There Lasgane and pasta dishes are fab. Definitely a place to visit if in Limerick.

Had lunch here today for the second time in a few weeks. Had my fussy eater daughter with me.As with my first visit the experience was great. Starters were for me Nachos and daughter had chicken wings . Both were really well presented and tasted very well . The Nachos came with 3 sauces including a lovely guacamole and a particularly nice tomato relish .The wings were succulent spicy and the plates were cleaned . Mains were Pizza for Daughter which was really tasty with a lovely thin crisp base and a very nice margarita topping . . I had a Malaysian dish of prawns and pork belly which was really excellent . I finished with a lovely expresso which would even have passed muster with Paulo Tullio .All foe 25 euro including 2 soft drinks no wonder the pklace was buzzing even on a monday afternoon . Please please open this restaurant at night i rate it better than its sister place across the road .
