Average enough food, nothing spectacular. For a starters, main and softdrink for almost €50, I'd expect better. Service was quite poor.

My wife and i ate there on 14/11/12 finishing about 1915 hours approx. We ate in the bar from a menue deal providing 2 main courses for €18. This seemed good value but the food was average at best. Just about acceptable given the price. The bar itself was to my mind somewhat rundown with the upholstery on some of the bar stools torn with the inner sponge exposed. The worst part of the evening however came when I pais using my lazar debit card. The server brought the terminal to the bar where I authorised payment using my PIN. The server immediately took the terminal and my card through a door at the back of the bar and out of my view. I immediately followed only to be met by an indivedual claiming to be the manager insisting I leave the back of bar area. I informed him that I would just as soon as I retrieveb my Lazer card. He insisted that I leave the area immediately or he would call the police. I invited him to do so informing him that I would not leave until mu debit card was returned to me. His colleague returned from the rear at this stage and I retrieved my card. I informed the manager that I intended to register a complaint concerning this serious breach of security and asked for his name and the name of his bank. While he gave me his name, he refused to give me details of the bank whose machine he used to access my account. The server refused to give me his name which I believe was withheld either from sheer spite or so to attempt to frustrating attempts to register a complaint. The manager refused to give me details of the owners or the MD but he did give me the name of the company owning the premises. I was ordered to leave the premises with the manager stating that they reserved the right to refuse admission ( which I thought to be silly given we had eaten a meal and had been admitted. Nevertheless he instructed me to leave the premises in front of customers, a few of who are known to me. I took a photo of the server to assist in making a complaint.

Visited this restaurant recently. The premises consist of a local bar in the front of the building and a restaurant. We had just called in for a casual meal. The value was fantastic for two main courses, a chicken maryland and a chicken with bacon we paid 15 euro,Had a desert which the waitress told me was made by their chef and coffee as well. Overall for quality and price it is hard to beat. Service was friendly

If you want simple, good food and big portions this is the place for you!!! Ate there recently and liked the diner-style atmosphere. A huge improvement on what used to be there!! Didn't like the tacky Frank Sinatra movies showing on the big screens... Apart from that, massive portions of good tasty food! Lovely!

I have eaten here twice recently and was impressed both times. The first time was from the Early bird menu and I was delighted with the choice on offer. The food is presented superbly and tastes even better. Lovely atmosphere and great service. The second time I had the carvery lunch, I'm usually not a fan of these but this was great quality food too. If you don't like Frank Sinattra beware, his music is playing on a loop !!
