Great location on the river and very bright inside. Staff were extremely friendly. Fries were frozen (from a packet) as were the onion rings. Poor combinations for vegetarian/vegan eaters. Ribs were all sauce and no meat! Pizza wasn't very nice at all and when I told the bar staff they were of little help. nI wouldn't recommend it as a restaurant but there was a good amount of punters at the bar.

Dismal service! its a shame because its a beautiful setting but the simple order of scones and a drink were mixed up, a not good attitude by the waitresses who maybe were too young to know about good customer service, (when asked whether a cake was very sweet, the waitress replied - well it IS a cake!! also my friend was charged the same for instant coffee as for the real thing (their machine was broken), scones were doughy. Not good overall

Went here for lunch after hearing so much about the place, the service was very good the menu was quite extensive but not out of this world the setting is really nice though. I would like to try it some evening just to see if the standard is the same.

Myself and my wife spent a week in Killaloe and found Flanagans to be an excellent eaterie, with exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff, with a very well priced menu. The food was excellent, and I would thoroughly recommend Flanagans, be it for a cup of coffee, drink or dinner. I will return.

We had a fabolous meal there the other night. GReat selection of Lovely starters, especially the Fernch onion soup and seafood chowder - delicious. We had their speciality - steak. The fillet steak was to die for. Good wine, great food!! We will be coming back.

I took a detour here on a recommendation while taking a family trip to Tralee. It was more for me as I'm a big steak lover while the wife is vegetarian. Even though its a steak house she loved the prawns and my fillet was perfect as expected. I thought a little pricey as it was only a quick stop off for us but the food was great. Would go again and recommend it.
