Stop off here at 7pm, greeted by friendly staff who were attentive but not pushy. Decor and location was wonderful. We had the special ie minute steak and sides also the Boardwalk burger, food was served quickly hot and decent portions. Total bill with coffees was €35.75 good value and well worth a visit.

Popped in here when Glamping in Leitrim at the weekends for lunch.I had the freshest and tastiest salad ever. I wouldn't normally opt for salad bit I had a bit of a sore head and wanted something light. The salad came in a huge bowl with warm chicken, Avocado cherry tomatoes amongst other fresh ingredients. Its a lovely airy friendly place and the staff are nice but very busy.If I ever go back to Carrick I will definitely pay a visit for the salads!! Nice coffee too!

Myself and my husband had a main course of roasted trout here last Friday. It was one of those lovely hot days. We were very impressed with the whole experience. The dish was excellent in taste and quality. The staff were friendly and professional and it was a cool oasis from the heat outside, we will certainly be back if we are in Carrick on Shannon again

Have eaten in this hotel many times but never in the restaurant/cafe. It's very modern decor and very comfy. The menu offers a large selection. I found the whole experience rather homely - I suppose it was very quiet compared to eating out in Dublin. Our waiter was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was fine - good cooked food - couldn't complain. I had the pate and the burger. My meal was completed with a knickerbocker glory - haven't had one in years. And the waiter assured me it was made with fresh fruit (not tinned fruit cocktail) and indeed it was and I enjoyed it. Couldn't fault the place for value for money.
