I LOOKED THIS UP ON TRIP ADVISOR AND THOUGHT SINCE WE HAVE BEEN IN IRELAND MANY DAYs THAT We could have something different. We should have stayed with the pub food! Waiter was slow , seems not to speak English very well, but was in charge of the whole place it , or so it seemed. We had the special , 2 first course , and 2 main courses plus a bottle of wine, for 50euros?.. the salad was ok but small and had ham in a caesar salad! The lasagna was really not good flavor or consistency and procuitto on pizza was thick and overwhelming, we could have shared pizza and be done with the whole meal!!! Would nor recommend it except for the pizza crust was great, order another kind if youreally want to!!!! Service people should recommend sharing when orderd seem too much for groups , families.....

Our server seemed pleasant enough but overall quite reserved and inattentive. She was polite but it was a little forced. She was running the whole bar by herself and also serving all of the tables which to be fair to her she did promptly and without hesitation. The food was relatively tolerable at the beginning. My partner and I both ordered the spinach and ricotta tortellini which we had both had a handful of times in other restaurants and it had been beautiful. Unfortunately for us this dish was extremely creamy and covered in cheese and heavy toppings which made our stomachs plummet downwards until it felt as if we were almost dragging them alongside our feet. Safe to say we weren't feeling brave enough to try a dessert front this particular establishment. After every bite we had to keep drinking to stop ourselves from thinking we would be sick, the pasta was just so dry. We literally could not stay in the restaurant,at the very end I told my boyfriend I thought I was going to be sick. I think that we were generous to give it a score of two. I think the atmosphere was lovely so that is the reason for the higher score. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will definitely never eat here again.

Excellent Italian food and service. Atmosphere would improve with a little more light and colour.

We really enjoyed our meal at Little Italy, the restaurant was busy, being Valentine's day, but we were still very well looked after. It was nice too that they didn't put up their prices for this busy day.

We opted for the Early Bird Menu- 3 courses and a bottle for 2 people at €50. We were the only diners there though a family came in while we were eating. I couldn't fault the food-it was all lovely. We had deep fried prawns in filo pastry with a chili dipping sauce and fresh leaves and fried mushrooms with mozarella. We also both enjoyed fried fillet of pork with creamy wine sauce. Each dish was served with a nice buttery mash and buttered vegetables. Dessert was trio of ice-cream and tiramisu- a lovely ending. The wine was also very enjoyable. The waitress was friendly and engaging and service was very prompt and efficient. I would definitely recommend Little Italy.

The only reason they didn't score higher on atmosphere was that they had three hen parties in the night we were there! I started with the stuffed tomato starter, with ricotta and goats cheese with spinach, cooked to perfection., and with just the right amounts of seasoning and spinach so that it wasn't too soft. For my main, I had the tonno pizza, a very authentic italian style base, with a little bit of puff around the edges, just right for eating with your hands. A good, salty cheese and a well seasoned sauce left nothing to be desired. The wine menu is affordable, not a massive variety but very satisfactory. I'd definitely go back.

Quiet Thursday evening, so that's the reason for the low atmosphere rating - if it was busier it would be higher. Having said that, the food was outstanding - good produce, well-cooked and well-seasoned. We were a party of three and, on our rcommendation, eight more of our group went there on the Friday night and had an equally happy experience. Service and food first-class. If you like good Italian food, go there!

Worst Italian I have eaten in this country. The prices were a rip off for the poor quality of food that we got. Really disappointing.

as a group of mums with young babies, we were excited about dining out as a treat for the night and had always commented on trying this restaurant. So excited but in the end so disappointed. On arrival, the atmosphere was extremely dull. For a Saturday evening it was like we had arrived at a wake. However, optimistic as we were, viewing a very over priced menu, we settled on sharing some starters and the waitress was very good in offering to change the garlic bread to a pizza style base. These were ok. We all ordered a pizza and really how wrong can you get this. Well, very easily it seems. The oven must have been very dirty as all the bases were black on trying to eat the very hard base My own pizza had no cheese on its base, when I queried this, it was explained, as my choice was mozzarella & rocket, it wouldn't "work" having the cheese there but place in small wedges on tope All three of us returned more or less full plates. The waitress did give a comp bottle of wine, which was very good of her but all in all we didnt enjoy our much anticipated meal out.

Hats off to Little Italy. We found this place by chance and we were not disappointed. They did a set meal including a bottle of wine for €50. The service was great (genuine Italian for once) and the food matched the service. As Arnie said in the Terminator "i will be back" - yes we will

I have to say this is one of if not the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, first of all the table we got was dirty - no big drama we use a napkin on the table to clean it no big deal. We ordered starters and mains and the waitress was polite and courteous things are looking up at this stage, we got our starters and my girlfriend got a a few hairs in it she sent it back and didn't want to get anything for starters (not good). we got our mains and the pizza we got were not freshly made but frozen pizza's heated up it was bland and tasteless we also did not get out side order with the mains - fair enough in a busy environment but hey we were the only people in the restaurant when we got our mains and I can see why. So my advise is avoid, avoid, avoid this is not worth it there are plenty of restaurants that are much better value and cleaner. This really ruined our dinner and I would not go back even if it was for free. - yes it was that bad!
