At Twist we thrive to do what many other cafes don’t, we offer a more professional approach to daytime breakfast, snacks and lunches. Our entire menu is prepared daily and cooked to order. Our chickens and bacon are cooked onsite daily, not processed and pumped full of water like many other cafes. Our turkey and beef is of the highest quality. All our veg and salads are delivered daily giving you the customer a healthier lunch option.
We know how busy your brunch/ lunch hour is so we've planned a menu with a wide range of fresh ingredients, choices and a friendly service to make a unique dining experience.

I used to always eat here for lunch every Thursday with my friends whenI was a student at Maynooth the food is always top notch. I was never a big fan of TAPAS, however, I went out with my job on Friday night and it was beautiful and on the plus side we were allowed bring our own drink How fab is that???

Have eaten here a few times, for brunch, lunch and dinner. Food is always really good. Portions are a good size and the tapas for dinner are delicious. BYO is also a great option!! Definitely recommend eating here. Very relaxed atmosphere so don't expect the waitress staff (very good) to be hanging around you!

Twist had a lovely atmosphere. The food was divine and very well presented. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly. Our food was received promptly. We did find it hard to grab the attention of the waiters, but we were not in a rush so it did not bother us. The one issue I had was we were not aware on booking the table that they do not serve main courses on Sundays. In saying that, I was not left hungry and could indulge in a guilt-free desert afterwards. Overall, excellent quality restaurant.

Was looking for somewhere different for lunch and was very impressed with this place. We had a gorgeous lunch, food really fresh and plentiful. Would definitely return to try something else off the large menu!

I visited Twist Cafe last Friday for some brunch. I'd been ill so was looking for something light (yet tasty) to eat. The menu offers a wide variety of food so there should be something for everyone.I ordered scrambled egg with toast and a berry smoothie. The service was prompt and friendly with a smile. The food was nicely presented, hot and very tasty and the berry smoothie was delicious! The restaurant itself is modern and clean, with large windows so you can people watch. I will return for brunch and try out their evening tapas menu.

Have eaten here lots of times. It always seems to be busy. Good value and a large menu. I always end up getting the club tower sandwich as it is gorgeous!

Went there for my friend's birthday. The staff are friendly and polite. The atmosphere is nice. It's a nice place too. Unfortunately despite ending with a chocolate brownie that is absolutely to die for, I was very disappointed with the food overall. The breaded sardines were lovely but the prawns (I asked for Tempura and am pretty sure I got the other prawns by mistake) had a batter on them that was so greasy I felt nauseous. The Seafood Paella had something weird at the bottom: we conclused it was lemon that had sat for so long in the bottom of the pot it must have soaked up everything from the pot but we had tasted it thinking it was seafood!! It was gross. Also the mussels tasted odd and I am a big fan of mussels so I know the difference! Won't be in a hurry back sadly! :(

The food is very tasty and because you can bring your own wine the cost is quite reasonable, always a plus!! Tables are very close together and can become very noisy. Esp if you are there as a couple and a group is seated beside you :0( We had an unfortunate mix up with orders which meant that I had to eat my meal alone as my husband was well finished before the mix up with my meal was resolved. In fairness I think this was due to new staff. Overall however I would recommend.

Have eaten here several times for lunch and the food is always fab. The only down fall for us is they don't have any baby changing table in the bathroom even though the bathroom is very large and there are always loads of children in the cafe

Are here lastnight with a gang of people. We were the only people in the restaurant. The table was not big enough and after standing round for a bit we moved tables ourselves to sit down together. The service wasn't great. Food was ok, but overpriced. Restaurant was freezing and we said it to them several times. Not impressed.

Dined tonight with my family of 4. As read in menupages was exactly true. Food great - greeting poor and felt rushed. The waitress on greeting us made us feel as if we didnt have a reservations and pointed us to a table beside a table of 16 celebrating a 40th birthday. The rest of the restaurant was empty so couldnt understand why. No favours to us or them. Trying to crack a a smile on the waitress was impossible and she made us feel uncomfortable and hence we left left and had ice creams on the street for desert just to get out. Pity because the food was perfect - defo wont return, We stayed in Carton hse and keen to try somewhere outside of the hotel. Real pity she made us feel that way...
