I am not really a Thai food fan however, I had went here last year on a deal I had purchased and returned again in December. The service was a bit slow and the atmosphere was ok it was very quiet. However, the food was piping hot and rice was fluffy along with the freshly made nann bread. I would return here becaus eit is good value and the food is always nice.

Waited an hour for food to be delivered and was missing a meal. When we contacted them they made a huge deal of returning our money.

A friend and I had dinner in LAN Tania on sat night. The restaurant is really lovely however although it seats 80 we were the only two in the restaurant for most of the meal. We didn't mind though. We had a 3 course set meal. the main course was excellent. Very very tasty. My friend had noodles and I had Thai green curry. Both dishes were very good. For starter however I had prawn and salmon fish cake. to be honest they were inedible. Awful.they were like rubber. I could barely cut them. Never tasted anything like it. in fairness to the waiter he took them away and brought spring rolls which were grand. So it didn't ruin the meal. There was no choice of dessert which was a bit disappointing. The dessert given to us was a really well presented brownie with ice-cream. The brownie was dry and tasted more like a piece of cake. I'm not a dessert person so I didn't mind. I didn't eat it. Overall the food was of a very mixed quality. The wait staff were helpful and attentive. However I don't think I'll be in a rush back :(

I bought a Menupages voucher and brought Mum for a meal, I was so disappointed, the restaurant was empty just ourselves and one young couple. I ordered Salmon cakes for starters and them were very rubbery, Mum had duck spring rolls that tasted like re heats, ordered chicken with cashew for main and I got about 3 strips of chicken in a bowl of onions, Mum had singapore noodles that were very bland and again very little meat in the dish, dessert was a dry and chewy chocolate brownie, no cream or ice cream.

disappointed that the set menu that we were offered was very limited....ie no choice for dessert - only creme bruelle offered- which was very poor. A lost opportunity to showcase what they can do. Will not be back.

I just ordered roast duck with plum sauce, fried noodles, steamed rice and stir fried veg. The duck was so hard and over cooked I couldnt chew through a single piece of it, the veg looked microwaved and the noodles smelled like fish. I was so shocked at what had been delivered I called to explain, hoping that there was some kind of mistake. I was told by a friendly woman on the phone that all their food is cooked fresh and that is the way the duck is supposed to look. So I had to write this to advise others to pick somewhere else to eat. There are loads of really nice places to eat in the Maynooth area.

Staff attentive and friendly. As we had an early booking, we were the only diners until we were nearly finished. Starters tasy, we both had Chichen Cashew nuts which was yummy, followed by Chocolate Brownies, a little dy but the ice cream with it meant it was fine. The wine we chose was unavailable but a (French) alternative at same price was highly acceptable.

Purchased a special offer for a 3 course set menu for 2 in Lan Tania. Booked through website noting that I had purchased this special offer and requested sitting for Saturday evening at 8pm. My request was declined and suggested times offered for really early in evening and really late. Called and got a booking for 7.30pm. Arrived at restaurant and we were in the restaurant with only three other people. Staff friendly. No atmosphere. Food average. Considering we paid €40 for our meals, I wouldn’t have considered this a bargain, and would have preferred to spend my money elsewhere in Maynooth. Will not be returning.
