Visited this restaurant on 15.02.12, early bird option was not offered despite the fact that it was advertised as available up to 7.30 and we arrived at that time. The food was good, the service was very poor. One waiter was polite, the other downright rude, no friendliness at all between the lot of them. The tables lacked table cloths, condiments and water. The restaurant itself is ok but wouldn't appeal for an evening out, would be ok for lunch during the week. Certainly would not go back

i have just come from flaming wok. brought my husband and kids for fathers day. although the food is always really good in the flaming wok they seem to forget there is a recession. i opted to get the children miwadi instead of minerals to try and keep down the cost and i was charged €7.50 for 5 miwadi's, "extortionate". i questioned it and was told yes €1.50 was what a miwadi cost. i was reluctant to go there in the first place because i do think they are a bit greedy but that has finished me completely with them now, its a pity because i do like the food.

Really enjoyed the food here everything was absolutely delicious. They could do with some soft furnishings to absorb some of the noise though! The noise level is something else and they could do with dimming the lights a bit to create a bit more atmosphere. Anyway, the food is consistantly good.

I haven't been to the restaurant in years but this is by far my favourite Chinese Take Away in the whole country. The food is consistently nice, the staff are friendly. There is an option to get all items MSG free which is great.

This place is not for anyone who wants genuine Chinese cuisine. In fact, it's a noisy, hysterical evening-joint, filled with noisy individuals. The food has that familiar MSG tang which guarantees a headache and dehydration the next morning. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Ordered a takeaway from the Flaming Wok. As far as value for money (and quality of food), equivalent restaurants in Dublin would want to pay attention. It's been a while since I've eaten in the restaurant itself but my experiences there for food, service, etc. were very positive.

This is probably my favourite restaurant in Clane- simply because it delivers the whole restaurant package without fuss- everytime, it delivers - that's why I go back. The highlights of the menu for me, are the different Duck dishes, the Squid and the whole fish dishes, carved and served in front of you. Service is always good here- on the night we attended, 3 waiters/waitresses/, having served all the customers, stood to attention scaning the restaurant for further service requirements of their customers- you just don't see this level of attention in a lot of restaurants these days.

Very good food, very pleasant atmosphere (can become a little too loud at times, but I would put this down to a couple of boisterous Christmas parties), friendly and efficient service. Reasonable prices, although they are between e2 and e4 more expensive than the above menu (this may be just a temporary Christmas increase). Overall, a nice restaurant. I'll return.

I've eaten here several times both as takeout and sitdown. Food is good and not overly expensive. Service is too quick though. Mains delivered to table literally two minutes after ordering.
