The atmosphere and food in this place are both quite good. Plenty of space between table and nice design. However during our last visit the service was a disaster, we had to wait 45min between each meal and had to call for waitress multiple times.

My first adventure into Indian food and what a success it was! Will definitely be going back for more. The menu is comprehensive and each dish well explained. Agree with comments that from the outside there is little to tempt you but it was a great night and excellent food. With two bottles of wine (!), three courses each for three people the bill came to €125 total for great food.

This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites. The food is great with a large selection, and the wait staff are friendly. I enjoyed the polished touches like the candles on the table and folded napkins. Overall atmosphere is very good. Don't be turned away by the foyer appearance. The restaurant is a little hard to find, but definitely worth going back to.

Not only is this my favourite Indian, it is my favourite restaurant full stop. I have been many times and have never been disappointed by the food, as have any of the friends and family I have brought along with me. The menu has really grown over the years and the newer additions are wonderful. Even the selection of naan bread is impressive. You will find some dishes here that you will not find in other Indian restuarants. The food is always cooked and spiced to perfection, always hot and the portions are quite large. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and staff are pleasant. Not the cheapest Indian around but WELL worth it. They do a ridiculously cheap all you can eat deal on Sunday afternoons if you can manage a big feed early in the day

The service here can be hit and miss. If you get to know the waiting staff they are very pleasant - there is one staff member that can be a little brusque but without a shadow of a doubt it is more than mde up for by the food which is excellent. The garlic and coriander naan is pure sin on a plate. As we are regular customers we often get a complimentary beer or starter. Once when the service was slow (because they were very busy) we received a complimentary bottle of wine when we were leaving. Hands down the food here is as good or better than any Indian in Dublin and I can not recommend it highly enough.

Had a lovely meal there this evening with my husband and 11 year old son. Food was good and service attentive. We were aware of a value menu for 2 people which was not presented on arrival. We were only give the Al a Carte which has a 25% discount Mon to Thursday. We opted for the set menu for 2 and ordered off the main menu for our son. When the bill arrived the we did not receive the discount for our son. It was quickly rectified but left a bad feeling on what was otherwise a very nice evening. The restaurant has a large board outside advertising good discounts on all restaurant and take away menus. Pity we had to ask for it. Customer be aware!

This is the nicest Indian in North Kildare. Food is always great, have tried various dishes and never been disappointed. They have also introduced meal deal menu's, and a few offers which is great!

We had a very pleasant experience in the Delhi Darbar. The service was friendly and prompt. While the restaurant is quite large, it still retains a warm, intimate atmosphere. The chicken tikka starter was just OK but the onion bhajis were fresh, crispy and tasty. Our mains were the garlic chili chicken which was slightly too sweet and the lamb with bell peppers and shallots which was full of flavour with very tender lamb. This was our first time in the Delhi Darbar and we will certainly be coming back for more!

I am a Celbridge local, so a visit Dehli Darbar regularly and it never fails to please. The staff are warm and friendly and while they are attantive, they don't overstay their welcome at the table. Indian food is a favourite of mine and this restaurant serves some of the best Indian food that I have tasted in Kildare and Dublin. I went for jhinga prawns during my last visit for starter. The three large prawns were juicy and plump, served in a light fragrant batter. There are four or five new mains. I went for the lamb kadai. Beautiful! The garlic and corriander naan is bubbly and tasty. Please try if you are in the area!

Only discovered Delhi Darbar recently, and was delighted to do so as I had been trying to find a good local Indian restaurant. The food is delicious-can't complain about any dish I have tried so far. The starters are particularly good-especially the bhajis and samosas. Service is consistently good, and value for money is excellent as they do an early bird discount for both restaurant meals and take away. Only negative I can think of is that it can be tricky to find parking as its on the busy main st. Will definitely continue to visit regularly

went on saturday night with my girlfriend for her birthday/valentines. nice decor, but more importantly the food was delicious - had veggie playyer to start, a main each with naan, rice and mushroom baji side which and were stuffed. pained to leave the leftovers and couldn't face desert, had a choc brownie, her fav on menu but couldn't fit it in and that was with splitting rice and naan between us! wine was cheap but more than cheerful and staff very friendly. ordering a take away when get home from work!
