Very disappointing dining experience. Limited menu and food took ages to arrive. The food that arrived was overcooked and resembled a sloppy mess on the plate. JRB is good for a night out but not if you're looking for a nice meal.

WoW! and not a good wow. Have eaten here previously with mixed results. The food side has really gone downhill. We received Poor service, waited 40 minutes for Poor food served with plastic in it. Disappointing and won't be returning.

Used to eat here lots. Have to say it has gone down hill badly. You have to go to the bar if you want a drink as theres no staff to ask for a drink. We waited over thrity mins to order the food. The starters came nealry twenty mins after that. More than an hour later still waiting on the main course. They say its due to being busy. But i know this place was a lot busier before and food was better and service was better too. Dont think i will ever be back.......

Visited with my wife today. Not a good dining experience. The first indication that things were not well was when the waiter told us they could not server the mixed vegetables leaving out the Brussels Sprouts. The next bad sign was when the meal arrived 30 seconds after we ordered it. Um "what's going on in the kitchen" me thinks. My wife's "burger" wasn't a burger but a slice of baked meatloaf on a huge lump of bread. The salad had that look of being on the plate for a while. My roast beef had the look and taste of something that had been plated considerably earlier. We wont be back.

Was there for lunch. Good pub grub with an intersesting varied menu at reasonable prices. Although there was not many people in the pub, service was very slow

Was there for lunch last week with two of my friends. Menu was good, great selection but the service really wasn' t up to any kind of standard... Even ringing the bell for service wouldn't get you attention. We had to get our own menus, and then wait a good 40mintues for one course of mains. Food was nice when it did finally come out. No rush on going back anytime soon.

Ate here for lunch. Found the menu extensive. Good variety of food. Ordered Half portion of chicken and was very surprised to see the size of it. Couldn't even eat dinner later that day. Great value for money. Only thing i would say there was no high chair offered for the baby to sit at. And the service was quite slow there only appeared to be 2 staff covering the bar and floor at lunch time.

Decided to pop in today for the first time for a bit of lunch, and I don't regret it at all. Very nice place to eat. Very diverse and simple to read menu, and I opted for the Triple Cheese Chicken Penne, something i'd not had before and I loved it. The portions were quite large and well worth the price. The staff were plentiful and made themselves available when needed. Overall a pleasant experience and will be recommending.

We went there for something to eat, have never been there before so thought I would give it a go. The menu was very nice sounding, had plenty on it. We had ordered burgers and chips, a simple dish and a safe bet. But the burger was nothing special and had been overcooked slightly. The chips where very scarce. The staff were friendly and checked on us from time to time so we weren't left on our own for a long time and plates where cleared away quickly.

Went here on a great recommendation from friends. The menu is diverse, with many burgers, ribs and fajitas on offer. I chose the chicken fajitas. The portion was huge! I would not be a big eater, but there was definitely enough for 2 people to share here!! The meal was tasty enough, and the ribs that my partner had were also very nice. This is good ''diner'' style food, in a pub setting.

Came here with the family for lunch, the food wasnt great at all, i ordered the battered cod, which was from the frozen variety, and tasted like fishy cardboard the batter was too thick it was like chewing dough and the chips werent great with my other half having ground white pepper put on hers (?) to be fair the chicken nuggets for kids were from real chicken breast not the processed kind, so fair play there, our waiter was nice but never came to check was our food ok. over all i think this place could do so much better and has so much potential to do great food as the bar and club do so well. i hope they improve

I visited judge roy beans on my work christmas party, for a meal and nightclub after. I had never been before but have been looking forward to it since it opened and suggested it when I seen the brilliant deal on for christmas parties. First thing I noticed was the decor, which was nice, then we were shown to our table. The menu on offer for christmas had a good selection for starter, main course and dessert. The waitress serving us were both very pleasant, which a lot of times you don't see. Waitress took our order and starters, main course and dessert and they all arrived in a timely manner. Food was delicious, turkey was not too dry and cooked to perfection as wel as the soup starter and vegetables. My favourite was the pumpkin pie dessert which was delicious. We all enjoyed our christmas party as well as the meal. I cannot wait to return to Judge roy beans again, have viewed the usual menu and it looks great so far.
