Fab food, fab atmosphere. Food is beautifully presented and full of flavours and taste. The price is very reasonable also. Will definitely visit again!

i have never commented on any review sites in my life, unfortunately i feel compelled to review this restaurant. i am astonished by the previous reviews ( both claiming to have lived/travelled in india!!!!!) . The food in spice is simply the worst indian food i have ever eaten in my life. the food bears very little resemblance to the dishes on the menu. four of us ate there and we were all disappointed. do they have indian chefs or is this someones interpretation on what they think indian food should taste like. the nan breads were clearly reheated, the pilau rice was mush, the lamb balti ordered was sent out as a lamb pasanda (we were told by the staff that it was the same!!!!!!!!!!) the list goes on. it makes a nonsense of review sites when so called "reviews " are clearly posted by family and friends.

The best thing about this restaurant is the price. The mid week special at 39.95 for three courses for two people and a bottle of house wine is exceptional. Best in country. Having lived in India for over four years (north India and south India) we are very fussy about our Indian food. The food here is good but there are better Indian restaurants in Ireland but not at this price. We were offered mild, medium or hot spice levels. Thankfully we opted for hot as this this turned out to be mild by our standards. This is understandable as Indian restaurants have to cater for the Irish tolerance (or lack of) for spices. The staff were friendly and effecient and we will most certainly be back.

Previously Usac Restaurant now Spice Indian, great interiors havent changed so its not your typicall Indian decor, its contemporary. I love proper Indian food having been in India, I was not disappointed at all, this is the real thing, the one waitress was extremely efficient & helpful. Our reservation was for 4 people @8pm but were haveing a few bevvies downstairs in Cunninghams, I popped up to let her know, she said it wasn't a problem. When we did arrive she informed us we could still avail of the early bird menu, very little different from the main menu. We had a platter for us to share between the 4 of us, rather that 2 platters to share the waitress recommended that, The Tiger Prawn Jalfezzi was amazing, the sauce was so tasty, one of my friend is vegetarian and she really enjoyed her meal. The Pilau rice & garlic naan bread was very tasty. Great Service, Great Food , Great Value, & Great Restaurant, will be back.
