We got into this bar/restaurant late after a long drive from Dublin with 12 minutes left to order food but it made no difference to the service provided and quality of food. Absolutely lovely. Music was provided also so overall threat nite. Food was very good quality and the service was text pleasant. Highly recommend this pub/restaurant.

I'm not sure were we in the same restaurant as the previous reviewer. The place was also packed when we walked in. We were seated reasonably quickly. I opted for the mussels as a starter ( which sadly they had run out of ) so went for the chowder instead. OH had a fish platter as a main only, whereas I opted for the sirloin, which was delicious. Our Daughter went for a kids pasta platter and She cleaned the plate, which says it all IMHO. Service was very good, staff friendly ( the place was packed with GAA supporters).I really find it hard to find fault here & I highly recommend this place and we will deffinatly be back.

Went in here for lunch during the week- it was packed so i always think this is a good sign. How wrong i was, I had roast chicken and sage stuffing along with veg, what i think it should be is completly different to this place, it was like reformed chicken breast with a paste for stuffing, potatoes were pumped with butter and cream, hardly much potato in it, pretty much car crash dining, if your looking for something tasty, think again, yuck!

We had lunch here, I had the fried shrimp and she had the stew. Both were ok. I would have liked the price to have been lower for what we got. The Irish coffee was tasty, made with real cream. I liked the fried shrimp itself, interesting way of preparing it, but the chips were hard. The stew sauce was rich and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful.
