Went here a couple of months ago, have been here loads of times. On this occasion I got the black valley sweet pancake with blackberries and icecream, it was absolutely delicious, I got tea also and loved the little teapot. Great presentation, great atmosphere, great service. Not the cheapest, but you are paying for fresh food and great service. I love this place. Really recommend it to kerry visitors!

The atmosphere is amazing, and the view from the restaurant is astounding. If you eat outside, you can enjoy the lovely view in their well-manicured garden. If you eat inside, as we did, you can enjoy a perfectly cozy and relaxed dining experience with a warm fire going. As the name of the place suggests, the menu is almost entirely pancakes, and there is a nice variety of both sweet and non-sweet (cheese, vegetable, and meat toppings) to choose from. Also, the soup we had was perfection, and we highly recommend it as an appetizer. You will not be disappointed by anything at The Strawberry Field except possibly the service. In our case, our server was uninterested in us from the moment we got there. The servers seemed very young and timid about approaching tables. We were a pleasant family happy to be there, and we were treated with complete apathy. We waited a long time to be acknowledged when we first arrived, a longer time for our orders to be taken, and we were never checked on during our meal. Our drinks came long after our appetizers, and we felt as though we were an after-thought the entire time. Also, business was steady, but not busy during our visit.
