The room where the food is being served is way too big. There was only a few people there which made the place feel cold and lacking in atmosphere. The service was slow but the waitress was very pleasant. The food was traditional pub grub. Not the nicest of meals I have had and I do not think that I would be re-visiting the Danny Man for food again.

I was here with my girlfriend on a sunday evening, there were a few around but seemed quite empty due to the size of the place. We seated ourselves and were a little disappointed with the service. The food was tasty albeit a little on the warm side. We had the sirloin steak which was lovely and the cottage pie which was exactly what it said on the tin...no sides/fries/garnish of any kind, just a slice of brown bread straight from the packet. Wasn't the greatest place I have ever eaten and don't think I would go again.

I had the fish 'n' chips and it went down a treat with a pint of Smithwicks. Service was prompt and our waiter made us feel very welcome. We had had a busy day and wanted to relax listening to some Irish music, but sadly, the band didn't arrive until we had finished and in the end, we left before the band had even set up.

This is a huge pub packed with tourists and locals. The menu appeared ok with the usual array. We were put sitting at a table hardly big enough to sit one person over in a corner.I got steak which was just ok and arrived very quiclkly and my partner had chicken which was run of the mill. The service was good but the food was a little overpriced no doubt for the tourist influx.Wine selection was mediocre.Lots of better places around.

Visited here on the Aug Bank Holiday monday. Its very touristy but very lively. Ordered the irish stew and when it arrived it was a plate of veg & chunks of beef, no liquid whatsoever! Was a bit disappointed so called the waitress over and in fairness she apologised and immediately brought me the menu so I could pick something else. Had the lamb shank and that was quite tasty, meat falling off the bone. Had the chocolate cake for dessert and it was just average, nothing special about it.

Visited Killarney with my wife for a week, went out every night dining-drinking, best experience was at Danny Mann. We were greeted by staff at the door, seated at the bar, great pint made by a funny barman called. He seemed to be very busy and always being very friendly. My wife had fish and chips, i had tsteak for dinner. Food was fresh and hot as should be served. Also great music, little touristy but great experience! Great atmosphere, do not miss it!

Good value pub grub. Handy for a lazy sunday lunch or watching the footie
