We ate here to celebrate fathers day with our four young children. The starter was nice but it all went downhill from there. The mains were a disaster, worst food we have ever eaten. The chips were obviously oven chips, which is fine, except they were not cooked through, they were barely warm and still hard.Even the children wouldn't eat them. Myself and my son had the "traditional fish and chips" nothing traditional about it. It was a small breaded piece of fish which was burnt on top. Both myself and my son left over 3/4's of our meal, it was just inedible. My husband had the steak, which came with the same uncooked chips and very over cooked broccoli and carrots. The only nice thing was the pepper sauce. All in all it was not worth the 75 euros it cost to eat there, the majority of the food was left uneaten. We mentioned this to the waitress who said she would "inform the chef", although I am unsure if he should be called a chef as he obviously had not prepared anything himself other that to half warm up oven chips and fry off a steak. We were there less than half an hour from when we ordered till we left, food is not fresh and certainly not worth the prices they are charging. Will not eat there again and would advise others not to either.

My husband and I stayed in Keane's for a night while on honeymoon, and decided to eat in their restaurant instead of travelling to nearby Tralee. What a great decision! We shared the deep fried Brie for starters; it had the most delicious Cumberland sauce I've ever eaten. I had the potato&parmesan cod for mains, which flaked apart at the sight of a fork, it was so fresh. He had the steak sandwich and it was grilled to perfection. Warm chocolate cake for dessert was just melt in the mouth, so good. All topped off with lovely friendly service from the barman. We're definitely going back for a full weekend when we can!
