Booked this using the menupages.ie "book a table" facility, which is really handy. There was three of us, and we had a table by the fire which was really cosy. Food was good hearty fare. Two of the group had the "mega steak burger" which was exactly what it says on the tin. thumbs up all round on that one. I had the roast beef and it was melt in the mouth, with excellent mash and plenty veg. Starters of soup and arlic mushrooms were also good. Service was also excellent...friendly and attentive but also relaxed, which fit in with the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

went for a meal here yesterday, waitress was exceptionally nice and very efficent, food was good but veg had no taste whatsoever, im thinking it was frozen veg done in the microwave, meat was very good but there wasnt a whole lot of it to be had, dissapointing because it was so tender, very morish! would go back but for the price your paying you'd expect more food and better quality veg, in saying that i would go back

ate here last saturday. there were 4 of us and i wasn't too impressed. Service was awful, the waitress hardly spoke to us and wasn't too helpful when we asked questions. the place was crowded when we went in due to a match which was a bit annoying because the commentary was really loud and so was the bar and the tables are just located around the bar. food was OK - a lot of choice but it is a confused menu. I had monkfish and they servedd a lot of it which was unusual but the cuts weren't too good at all. prices are very reasonable.
