Their aim – Fresh fish (from sustainable sources), twice-cooked chips, handmade salads, mushy peas and batters, great beers, wines and coffees. They also offer great options from our grill including steaks, chicken and burgers. And no to preservatives, no to food from a packet, no to dirty oil, no to neon lights and no to soggy chips.

I went there with a friend for an evening meal. We started with mussels and prawns, had the Hake special for main course, and shared a bottle of the house red. The waiter, Thomas, took our order with a smile, and made friendly conversation with us throughout the evening. The food was wonderfully presented, and tasted even better than it looked! The restaurant overlooks the Atlantic which only added to the experience, as the glass front allowed all to enjoy it. I will definitely be back!
