We get the bus up here sometimes as we live in Lucan, good hearty pub fare, I would not recommend the Fajitas, they were done in a BBQ sauce and just not nice, but everything else we tried was lovely...

Visited there for a good, reasonably-priced meal in a friendly atmosphere and got exactly that. I had the chicken stir fry for main course and lemon meringue pie for dessert and both were delicious. My friend had the beef stew and cheesecake and thought they were also delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was delivered in an efficient manner without a long wait. My only negative was that on that particular night, there was a club's pub quiz going on, which made it quite noisy and hard to talk. However, we had fun answering the questions anyway and I will be happy to go back and eat there again. A main course, a desert and a glass of wine all for 2 people, with change out of €45 = good value for me. Keep up the good work :-)

Really nice local placeI have been here quite a few times and really like the place, the interior is very comfortable. We have been there for 2 christening parties and had ordered the food platters and have found the price very reasonable and the food really tasty with a good variety on the platters for everyone to choose from and If we needed more then we ordered there was never a problem getting more food.

The food is cheap enough but not good. I had a roast lunch and both the roasties and mashed potatoes were really gross. There was no flavour what so ever. The other veg were just boiled and boring. No wonder Irish people are crap at eating veg if all they get is uninspired, undressed carrots, cabbage etc. The meat was tough. There is no way I'd eat there again. The staff are nice though.

Went there on a Jedward night so it was understandably packed....the waitress was great. One of our friends was running late so she let us know when the kitchen were stopping taking orders. I had the Southern Fried Chicken which was tasty, my sister had the salmon which she described as bland and all the veg were very watery and tasteless. Most of the mains were€11 - €12.95 which is expensive enough by today's pub prices standard. I probably would not return.

Tasty pup grub , I had the burger and it was absolutely huge, but nicely cooked, friends had pasta, which was very good too. The pub is situated in Finnstown Shopping centre, so not very glamourous, so probably a good choice for a lunch as opposed to dinner. Have also had Sunday lunch here, no complaints. Service was good, but you have to remember that it is a pub so there will always be a time delay if the bar is busy. Very child friendly. Enjoy!

Nice family friendly pub with friendly staff. Kitchen is within eye view which is always good. Good value menu for pub food. Had the burger which was served with plenty of bacon and cheese. Good serving of fries. Girl who served us was particularly chatty and friendly. Was early in the evening so quiet but have called in here later in the evening a couple of times and always busy food wise. Enjoyed.

Nice for quick lunch, nothing fancy but okay. Service is good and easy parking.

As this is my local, for drinks and the football its grand but food does not live up to much at all you could make something better yourself at home. Set standard menu with not much choice at all.

Popped in here for a bite to eat but alas was disappointed. i got the steak sandwich but it lacked flavour unfortunately, as did the mushrooms. Staff are very friendly and its clean but alas would not be rushing here for the food..

Ehhh... no. I was really hoping for the best for the Lord Lucan as it's really close to where I live; and although I didn't expect fine dining, I didn't expect stodge, grease and almost completely Fawlty Towers service. I've been twice now, just to be fair, and on both occasions we had serious doubts about what the waitress would bring us back from the kitchen because the communcation between us was so poor! I'd give it a miss unless you can't cook anything decent at home yourself.
