Beautiful food. The staff are amazing. We went for my daughters birthday. They treated her like a princess even giving her a present and a photo of her blowing out a candle before she left. Excellent restaurant.

Great atmosphere, staff extremely friendly and welcoming. We had the set meal for 4, a set meal for 2 and the picky eater had a dish from the early bird menu. Food was delicious, there was plenty of it and it was very reasonable priced too. Would highly recommend Flames, it was our first visit and they made our family celebration very special. We will definitely be going back.

Had our work christmas night out here, it was fantastic, there were enough of us to book the whole restuarant and we had a band. The service was was so professional, efficient and friendly. Imagine 38 people arriving together and everyone served without delay and the food was fantastic. Everyone involved really enjoyed the food, the band, the ambiance and the friendly efficient staff. Well done!! to all See you soon

I have eaten here with my husband a few times now, both during the week and on a weekend night. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The staff are really helpful when it comes to ordering. They tell you the different ways you can have you choice served e.g. different sauces etc and are really passionate about making recommendations and ensuring things can be cooked to your liking if you ask for it be tweaked at all. My husband loves his food spicy and they were very attentive in trying to get the level of spiciness just right! They are also attentive to other things like our general comfort. Once we there early on a Monday evening just as the winter seemed to start creeping in - the restaurant was very quiet and the staff were very careful to ensure we were warm enough etc. They are just genuinely lovely people and we've developed a real soft spot for them now! The food is very very tasty and also very reasonable. Its easily our new favourite Chinese restaurant and we will definitely be returning for many more visits.

I went here with my husband for our anniversary. We went for the set menu, 3 course meal and a bottle of wine for €56 together. You can pick any main from the menu. The food is excellent. We were so full we were barely able to eat our dessert. The staff are really friendly and helpful and we will be back soon!

We visited Flames after reading some good reviews on here. I like my Chinese/Thai food and I am always trying new restaurants. I like my food very spicy with lots of fresh chilli. I must be a constant annoyance to chefs!! We arrived at Flames and were met by two lovely smiling Waitresses, one of which I believe to be the patron. We were quickly seated, watered and ordered. For starter I had ordered the Tom Yum Soup - Thai Soup usually with mixed seafood but Prawn on this case. The soup arrived and while it was fairly spicy the contents were lacking slightly. I think i counted 2 king prawns. The soup itself was tasty and was made with fresh ingredients. For mains, Shredded Chilli Beef & Fried Rice. A dish that I often have. Sadly arrived with next to no spice in it. Some raw chillis did arrive however they didn't make much difference. The beef was very crispy but this was due to the beef burning. As the beef is very thin, it is easy to over cook & burn - matter of a few seconds! The rice was very good and fresh. For some strange reason that evening I ordered pudding.....perhaps more strange than that is that I went for 'Deep Fried Ice Cream' (I guess I was just feeling like a pig!). Sadly this arrived massively undercooked. The ice cream was rock solid rather than the gooey mess one would expect. I have to say that the staff were very friendly and even chatted to us between courses. The water was topped up as soon as we were nearing the bottom of our glasses.

Restaurant response:
We are very sorry at Flames that you had problems with your meal, all you had to do if your food is not spicy enough was ask, as we try our best to please everyone. Make yourself know next time and we will make it up to you.

Went here for my husband's birthday and it was lovely. The food is to die for and the service is brilliant, but at times can be a bit too much. We got the set menu for €58 and that was a 3 course, tea or coffee and a bottle of wine for the two of us which I thought was brilliant. It is small but a lovely atmosphere and for a Wednesday it was quite busy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is a superb restaurant, excellent food at a very reasonable price. Service top class fabulous decor and comfort. It was really busy but despite the fact that we had not booked in advance they managed to accommodate us on a busy Sunday evening This restaurant has set the standard which other restaurants in the area would need to follow if they are to maintain their market share....with the quality of food, service and attention to detail this restaurant will continue to thrive in these difficult economic times! Well done - will definitely be back:-)

I heard great reviews about this restaurant from my friends. However, I was disappointed. I got the lemon chicken which I found to be over cooked or reheated as it was tough and got no vegtables which was disappointing. I also only got a small portion of rice I ate it all which I never really would. If my boyfriend got it he would of needed another portion. The surroundings were nice and the staff were friendly and kept filling up my water. I didnt like the way different waiters kept coming over and asking was it ok. One person should of been assigned our table and asked us we got asked far to much bordering on annoying us.

Great service and food. This is a must for fussy foodies. They are so attentive when taking the order explaining the dishes and making sure they understand what you like - and they take pride cooking exactly to your liking. If you like it spicy then Flames is the place to go. Relaxing place with friendly service and reasonable prices. Good selection of wines. I am not a fan of Chinese but will return here.
