Newland Golf Club Restaurant

Visited the restaurant in Newlands Golf course on Sun 20th Jul with family ( party of 8 including a toddler).None of us are members but some golf enthusiasts in the mix who have played the course. Some of party were delayed due to traffic problems but waiting staff very accommodating and we ordered for 2 year toddler ( sausage and chips - very generous portion - so we helped) whilst we were waiting. Good set menu choices with 3 course meal + tea/coffee for €22.50. Starters included soup of day( chicken & veg) prawns, vegetarian spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce. Mains included Christmas dinner in July of turkey & ham, salmon with dill sauce, lasagne, pre-made Burger & chips and chicken curry & rice. Desserts were apple pie, honeycomb cheesecake, pavlova, and rice pudding Food was good but some definitely bought in and service attentive but a little slow. It is a golf club so atmosphere created by members and guests. Would revisit
