Went in here because the restaurant next door had too long a waiting time. Total ripoff. I'm a vegetarian. Very odd choices so I ordered the camembert toasts with sultana chutney. Absolute disgrace for €12.95. One small bit of toast with camembert on top and about three rocket leaves. Sultanas thrown over the top of it, not a chutney. As soon as I saw it I had to order a side of fries to go with it even though it was a main course. My boyfriend got the roast beef special. Again, an absolute ripoff. A misserable chewy single slice of meat with some steamed frozen veg thrown into the mix. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he said he would have to charge me for mine because I had eaten it. He did offer us complimentary deserts but all they had was apple pie and icecream. As I pointed out to the waiter, I paid 12.95 for half a toasted sandwich and could have got a better meal behind a deli counter for a fraction of the price. Will never go back here.

My son eas married here in the Louis Fitzgerald and all I can say is oh my God. I take everything back, the staff in particular Mark and his team made our day extremely enjoyable. The attention to the happy couple and the wedding party was second to none. Food was delicious and the whole day was very enjoyable. The DJ that evening was absolutely brilliant had everyone on the floor all night. The bar staff and floor staff could not do enough for us. Really impressed. We returned the following night for drinks and again Mark was there to attend us we got star treatment as did the wedded couple. Really impressed. Thanks again for a great day you made a family very happy.

We enjoyed our meal here but it was a good thing we were not in a rush as we were kept waiting for everything. Service wasn't great, though to be fair they were very busy and seemed a little under staffed. The chicken I had was nice, my husband had the pork which he said was 'just ok'.

Four of us girlies went over to the Hair Show that was organised last Sunday in Louis Fitz. We decided to treat ourselves early for Mother's day and had our dinner there in restaurant. Where do I start. The service was dreadful, food ok lot of bones in the fish,, two of us had fish, other two thai curry. We asked for jug of water before we ordered food it came when the food and all was finished. We were over 3/4 of an hour waiting for food could find no one to serve us drinks even though there were 4 staff on our end so we were told they were obviously the elusive staff members. Really bad show no apologies from bar staff one girl who was serving other end was so nice she is wasted there. Sad to see this kind of service or should I say lack of in an establishment like Louis Fitzgeralds. We won;t be back.

where do i start, well i went for lunch with the girls here today and ordered a tuna salad sandwich, i was presented with a stale sandwich with a load of mayo in it, barely any tuna and a leaf of whitered lettuce, hardly a tuna salad, it was promptly sent back and i got another sandwich which was a million times better presented then the original one. When going to pay the bill, i let the duty manager know that i was a little disappointed with the standards and i got " the bread is fresh everyday, so theres no possible way its our fault" needless to say i will never ever be back after being spoken to like that, the tuna salad should be tuna flavored mayonaise at best, the mayo repeated on my all day, for such a lovely bar, its such a shame about the staff and the food

Have been here twice in the past week due to its convenient location at the time. We ate in the bar both times as the restaurant was booked up on both days (communions on the Sunday and private party on the Tuesday). The bar food is reasonable. The fish cake for starter was very tasty. I had the open beef sandwich on one occasion for main course, felt the beef was slightly fatty, although the bread was very good. On the second trip I had the chicken which was delicious. The thai red curry which my mum had was very tasty and definitely a recommendation. The Banoffi for dessert was somewhat disappointing, almost like a pre-packed dessert. Overall food was very average and I would not be rushing back.

Had a lovely meal here with my partner for her birthday. It was a busy friday evening in the restaurant, but the staff were excellant and tended to our every need. The food was really good and we will be back again for more of the same.

Yum Yum! im the fussiest vege out there and generally either dont go out or go to italians cuz I used to think that NO-ONE could mess up a pizza??!!..... anyway I had a delicious tartlet with goatscheese and basil for starters and a yummy risotto for main. Probably was too much on my plate, but himself was happy as he got finish it along with his Duck starters and Lamb main. Couldnty decide on the yummy desserts so I asked for a simple ice cream selection as I was full at that stage! All in all I was surprisingly impressed by this funky hotel. Thought it would be full of suits, but the atmosphere was friendly and buzzing, even though i went for an early bird. Impressed with the wine menu also and the waitress was able to recommend a wine with my beetroot risotto, which went down a treat! :) Would go back.....PUT MORE VEGE MEALS ON THE MENU!!

ate here when it first opened and enjoyed it but o how it has gone downhill, had pate for starter which was nice but all you get is 1 bit of bread with it which is not near enough, for main i had the sirloin steak with pepper sauce, which was actually roast beef and bisto gravey, so bland, tough and overcooked(i said medium), for dessert i had the cheese cake which was very nice, the bottle of wine we ordered when we sat down didnt arrive till after the mains landed, all and all i wouldnt recommend the restaurant although the hotel itself is very nice

We were going to go to a neighbouring restaurant but it was packed and we were to hungry to wait. We ordered Vegetarian tart @ €12.50, this should be a starter and even at that it would be small, the 3 pieces of pastry i got had nearly no filling, flavour or taste, i left still very hungry and went to the chipper on my way home. I did tell the waitress how unhappy i was and suggested they change the dish(if you'd call it that) to a starter. The other dish that was ordered was the spiced chicken strips, theses were pretty dry and not a great size portion either, the chips were disgusting. I would not advise anybody to go here and think the hotel should have a look at the overpriced, small portions of tastless food they are serving.

Dissapointing. Poor quality food at expensive prices. A small caesar salad with no chicken or dressing was nearly €10! Staff were nice, and the place looks well but the food just didn't cut it.

Had a family function booked here. There were a good few elderly people attending so the menu was kept sort of plain, which I was not looking forward too. However the food was exquisite. Yes, it was plain, but done to perfection. Steaks cooked perfectly to order, beautiful sauces, lovely veg and a trio of desserts to die for. The service was the best I've had in Dublin in a long time. Friendly, efficient and extremely attentive to detail. On another note we actually stayed the night in the hotel and again could not fault a thing. The place is immaculate with a refreshingly competent and friendly staff. Top notch all around.
