Great location for a bite to eat before the cinema.nnSelf service food, order at the bar giving your table number. Generous portion and great value for money.

The concept is that you order and pay for your food & drink at the bar by giving yr table no. Good meal deals each day & also good value if you order a drink with yr food (just €2 extra). Downside is that the food wasn't good both times I ate here. The 1st time I had superfood pasta & the pasta was totally rubbery. The 2nd time I had salmon fillet with veg & baked potato. Salmon completely overcooked & even looked dried up, veg totally over boiled & god knows how long the baked potato was cooked for. The Friday special was fish & chips which my friend had but the fish looked like it had been frozen & then totally over fried as it was very dry. It was very busy on Friday evening & there was a 40 minute wait for food. Personally I don't like the concept as its completely impersonal, but if yr just looking for something quick & cheap to eat & are more looking for a few cheap drinks with it than worried about the quality of the food then it's probably the place for you, but if yr like me & prefer the quality of yr food with a nice glass of wine & good service then you'll hate it. Also what really put me off the place when we were leaving were the bouncers outside who are obviously on a power trip. It was only about 8.50pm & they stopped a respectable looking bloke asking "Where are you from bud, have you been drinking tonight mate?" & then wouldn't let him in to meet his friends. You get the idea ..

We had breakfast here and the value, service and quality of the food was just amazing. Full Irish breakfast with hot drink and free refills for €4.95. Truly great value, the staff are so accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is a little impersonal due to the size of the place but will definitely return.

I've eaten in many wetherspoons across the UK before so know what to expect...how to order, the offers they have, the standard to expect etc....but I was really disappointed with the food here. I know it's never going to be gourmet cuisine but we ordered chicken tenders with chips and a pill cheese steak sandwich in the afternoon and thr service was prompt but when the food arrived to the table it tasted like it had been sitting under heat lamps a whlie and/or reheated. The chips were awful (no excuse not to have home made chips in any establishment these days anyway but these were particularly bad) and the rest of the food just tasted rubbery. Wetherspoons in England for me is like the safe bet where I know it won't be the best food but it will be edible. Not so much here. The bar decor is lovely and I would definitely return for a drink....but not the food.

The food here is really good quality and fantastic value. For €2 extra you get a drink with your meal which is really good value. You do have to order your food at the bar. No waiter service only when the food is delivered but it didn't matter because food was served very quickly after ordering and was of a very high standard. This Restaurant is a great addition to Dublin 15. Hopefully it gets the success it deserves.
