For some reason Menupages would let me put the Date in? My last vist here was on the 22 October 2012 This is the second time that I visited the Santary Bar @ the Crowne Plaza, in a space of a month, First time got a Waitress straight over , asked for the menu, and she said she would be back in a couple of minutes to take my order, as it was early in the day the Place was dead apart from a couple of people. I waited and waited for her to come back over, now durning this time she was hanging around the bar, there was no one else ordering food, so after about 15 mins I had leave all my belongings and drag my 2 year old up to the bar and place my food order. The service was absolutely shocking. On my second visit, 2 weeks later, called in for lunch again, Place was dead again bar about 5 people, got handed a menu, chose the Fish & Chips, and yet again waited and waited again, for service and yet again have to go up to the bar and place my order even do their were waiters hanging around doing nothing pretending they don't notice you?? Fish & chips came out, Fish Batter was fried to a crisp and the chips I could snap in half they were so over cooked, I broke the batter off fish the chips I just wasn't going to eat, that for the first time in my life called the waiter over and told him the chips were on the verge of being burned, he agreed with me and brought out a fresh plate of chips, which by the time the came out my over fried Fish was cold. I have stayed in a lot of Hotels and visited a lot of Restaurants in my time, and in my opinion if a cook cant even get a plate of fries/Fish right what hope have they got cooking anything else? My over all view is that I will never return back to this horrible place again, The service and the food was absolutely shocking, and on less there is a major change I would avoid at all cost, you would get better service and food in a fast food joint!

Myself and my partner have been here three or four times and we have never been disappointed. The food is great value; we usually order the platter for two absolutely delicious. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly. Lovely way to relax after a bit of shopping.

I was here on a work christmas lunch on Friday and it was a lovely experience. We had the choice of carvery and the usual pub menu. There was a mixture chosen between both. I had the roast beef choice from the carvery and while it was nice it could have been better. Juicy, tasty ( but unfortunately not pink) meat, the green beans were a bit overdone and the roasties a bit soggy. I wasn't sure about the choice of stuffing ?? and would have much preferred a yorkshire pudding. The other favourite choice of the group was the Pad Thai and not one of them was able to finish it. It was way too big a plate of food and although they all agreed it was tasty it had way too much chicken and not enough prawns (2 was the average per plate). The Indian curry on the other hand looked small but apparently was "definitely enough" and "had a good kick". The deserts were nicely presented and tasty. Coffee was good and house wine was very nice. It was a relaxed place with great service.

I've been to this restaurant three times, each time with family, which I think it is perfect for. The decor in the restaurant is stunning and the food is always prepared beautifully. When we visited on Sunday we just had mains and dessert, which were both delicious. The menu is quite varied, which is good if you're with a group. The service is always quite slow when I have visited, which is unfortunate and something they should really pay more attention to as it is the only downfall of this lovely eatery.

I had been here a few times for drinks and really like the bar. When my friend got a dinner voucher through work I was happy to go with her. I have to say that this was one of the worst places I have ever been to. The service was absolutely shocking. It wasn't that busy and there was enough staff but we were basically ingored the entire night. We had a 3 course meal and it took us over 3 hours to finish it. All that time we only had 1 glass of water and despite asking twice for another glass of water we never got it. We had a glass of wine with our meal and not once did anyone ask if we wanted another drink. The waiters must have passed us about 20 times and not once even looked at us. The food was very blant and because it took so long to get it was not at all worth the wait. When we wanted the bill we had to actually get up ourselves to find a waiter to get it for us. I did not expect this from a Crowne Plaza and guess it might have to do with the fact that my friend paid with a voucher but I will never come back here again!

Rea;;y enjoy popping in here after some shopping in the Blanchardstown Shopping Cenre or before the cinema. The location is excellent with plenty of parking. The have a good varied menu. My favourite is the fish and chips, although the mush peas you get is more of a pea puree in a small dish for dipping sauce.. Its nicely decorated with cozy booths. Carvery is also excellent

We ate here last week with our 2 young children as they have a special at the moment where for every adult dinner you buy, you get a childs dinner free so sounded to be a good deal. Firstly the place is lovely, really relaxed feeling about it which is nice. Staff are lovely too and are very helpful. Food was nice for pub grub but kids meal from the kiddie menu was terrible. It was not what children would eat at all.The menu was the same as everywhere else but the way it was cooked, presented etc was not for kids and neither of mine ate anything so that was disappoining. Wine is 5.50 for what i would call half a glass but without the kids i probably would go back in even just for a relaxing drink in the evenings.

I have been here a couple of times for work lunches. It has a very nice ambience, even when it's busy, it still feels nice and relaxed. The food is good, considering it's pubgrub. The portions are absolutely massive. My colleague had the fajita's which came with 3 HUGE wraps. It was impossible to finish it. I had the thai beef wrap this time, really yummie!- although it was smothered in some sort of creamy sauce. I would have preferred to get that on the side.

It was my first time at this new hotel in Blanchardstown. The bar was very nice with a nice crowd inside. The menu had a good selection and was averagely priced. The waitress was warm, freindly and very efficent. I had the nasi goreng an asian chicken and prawn dish with and my wife had the chicken fajita. Both were well presented. My nasi goreng was fine ,it just lacked chicken. There was only 2 very small skewers on top with 1 piece of small chicken on each. The fajita was a little to salty. Overall we were dissapointed but will definetly try it again.

Have eaten here a few times for lunch with work. Nice location and a good menu. I had the fish and chips which was delicious, lovely freshly cooked fish and nice chips, served with mushy peas and side salad yummy! I also had the club sandwich which also comes with chips and side salad, very tasty and filling meal, I think I paid €12.95 for it. Very nice alternative to the usual fast food of the centre, convenient location.

I really like this place. Ambiance is very comfortable and the decor is fab. The food is excellent considering it is bar food. It is actually much better value than the restaurant in the hotel. Love the Thai Red curry.

Just had a lunch here we sat out in the Foyer which was very comfortable. Hard at the start to attract the attention of staff to order but in fairness it was pretty busy. Had two glasses of wine with lunch at€5.50 a glass, thought it was expensive for half a glass, though the food/presentation was nice
