A hidden gem amongst the Blanchardstown eateries, Maximilian's Taste of Italy prides itself on having 'all things for all people'. Serving an enormous range of food Calamarri Fritti and chargrilled vegetables to toasted Panini's to the best tasting coffees around, there really is something for everyone. If you stop by during lunchtime, don't expect to be alone as it is the busiest time of day. Try a melted mozzarella and roasted homemade clove ham Panini or be more adventurous and order the handmade basil pesto.

Savour the tantalizing flavours of Italian Parma Ham with cherry tomato and fresh green rockett salad on ciabatta bread. All meat is hand-sliced in the deli and all sandwiches are made on the premises - they even make their own fillings. With the inviting atmosphere that is more like an Italian deli than a Blanchardstown café, you may want to sit down and enjoy your coffee, freshly made scones or full Irish Breakfast while reading a newspaper or catching up with friends on your laptop.

Fabulous traditional Italian restaurant with extra thin pizzas, with loads of toppings, lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, great music, atmosphere, and excellent house wines. Will recommend to my friends and will go back ourselves.

My daughter and I have lunch here every Friday and are always warmly greeted by Daniella, the manager. The menu is very Italian and very good value - from the cannelloni to the antipasti to the pizzas and pastas. We are only one of many regulars. We could have lunch in the main restaurant (where the food is also good and great value), but we prefer the continental, relaxed atmosphere downstairs, Best place to each on Blanchardstown!

This is a lovely little restaurant, really well designed- you'd think you were in a cafe on the continent. Food and service excellent- I had Crostini al salmone for starter and chicken valdostano for mains, both delicious tho have to say the portion of chicken is getting smaller and smaller. Still remains really good value, you can get any two starters two mains and two desserts for e39.n95. Great spot.

Been here several times with my partner and also to the Bistro. Food is consistently good, portions sizes are just right and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Just a really enjoyable dining experience. It has become one of my favourite restaurants to eat in. Can't recommend it enough!

Well thought this was for Maximillian's main restaurant only to be told quite definitely by the waiter that "we don't do Vouchers here" so it must be in the pizza part downstairs. This was very misleading and disappointing - as downstairs is more of a take away area and not really utilised as a restaurant. However the staff were efficient and friendly and the food was excellent, not great value though if you look at the menu the saving was minimal. Overall disappointing but food ok.

Food was great value. Very tasty. Initially, I was standing there waiting for service and cook said the waitress would be out in a minute after I had leaned across counter asking for service, feeling hungry and impatient. Initially, the waitress seemed unperturbed when I complained. However, after complaining, the service picked up immensely, with a number of apologies and explanations to boot, resulting in truly enjoyable meal. However, there were only 4 other people in the restaurant, so it should have been. Great value for money and lots of quality food. Well done chef! A 'tad' cramped and very small, so not very intimate. I also could not find a toilet.

Starters of minestrone soup and calamari were nice, as was the pizza, however the chicken was really dry and over cooked as were the mashed potatoes. There was a poor selection of desserts. The definite downfall for me was that fact that you had to leave the restaurant and go outside in the cold and upstairs to go to the bathroom! For this reason I would not go back accept to maybe get some takeaway pizza.
